Hello Hive

Its my first time posting in this community and I have been fascinated by peoples peaceful walk around places in their homelands, while posting beautiful things in this community and wished to give this a try to show us what my Wednesday walk looked like.

Ideally people post about lovely places they have been to but to give this a slight turn, you can see where am standing right here, its the center of town for me but with no beauty to attract the eyes

Its our town and roads all under construction, and am delighted to share this no beauty with us, walking around this place of town to see construction and government contract to give us a better road here.

An overhead bridge under construction

Its not common here and we don't have it all no good roads at all say more of other social amenities or some beautiful flowers to decorate a highway.

This is the tipper garage area of Ilorin in kwara state Nigeria, its a small round about leading to the Federal university of Ilorin and other locations, gridlock and traffic constitutes this center and people are often late for work each time the fell into the traffic here.

The current government decided an overhead bridge for a possible solution and work has just began.

We had shops stores and retailers and entrepreneurs at this very center who were going about their daily jobs earlier but there has been serious demolition of all the buildings around this location to create the overhead bride.

I don't know if the government paid a compensation to the shop owners for damaging their property or businesses but once there is a capital project like this you are not left with a choice but to vacate whatever land and property you own for the government to do this jobs.

And for the only attractive sight I saw were these beautiful shoes and slippers been sold by an entrepreneur right in the middle of the dust from this heavy road construction.
Business has to go on and she needs to make some sales I guess.

Its my Wednesday walk to see the progress so far with the overhead bridge construction right in the center of our town.
