The melon is sweet as a dream

I like to walk around the market or supermarket and take a few photos of the products on the shelves.

These are not aimless photographs, that day I was looking for all the yellow products, I was interested in working with color and shape, but I didn’t have a specific idea at that moment.

Stopping at a stall with ripe melons, I asked the seller what they taste like, getting the answer that these melons are sweet as honey.

In different cities, you can hear different epithets for melons, sweet as honey, sweet as persimmon, or heavenly aroma.

But, no one resorted to comparison with a sweet dream.

Yes, when someone goes to bed, they wish him sweet dreams.

Precisely, I decided to embody this comparison in this modest artwork, comparing the taste and aroma of melon with a sweet dream in the night, which is illuminated by a young moon and stars reflected in quiet waters against the backdrop of endless mountains.

In an ordinary photograph of a melon, you are unlikely to find something artistic, but I don’t think so.

Every melon is special, look at the texture of its skin, it's gorgeous.

To be honest, I am a little indifferent to melons, to their taste, but, sometimes, melons really come across that cannot but delight.
