Questions unanswered

Destroyed cities, broken destinies, disunited families and crosses over graves in the middle of lawns and on playgrounds... this is a small part of all the troubles that have befallen Ukraine.

Who would have thought that this is possible?

None.

Then, even a day before the start of the war, when these photographs were taken, people, if they turned to God in prayer, then only with a request for health and material well-being, in solving minor, everyday issues.

But, a day later, millions of prayers resounded: ...God, why me? Why did this happen to me? Save and Save! Where is your refuge? Where is your protection!?

But, apparently, the answers to these questions sounded then, long before the war, when we were preoccupied with petty, everyday questions.

These photographs of the Orthodox Cathedral were taken before the war, the rain wept for those who have to go through this valley of death.
