Random bushes are exploding in colour here!
It has been a very wet first couple of months of the year here in the Netherlands. And damn we are fed up with it for a good one. Every day when it is pissing outside I can just hear a colleague somewhere say that they are ao fed up with it.
And I get it. I'm more than fed with it myself. The only good thing that happened over the last couple of weeks is that the temperatures have risen which gives plenty room for everything to grow like there is no tomorrow.
Literally at every corner something is turning from into a brown bush to a lush green bush with flowers inside of it right there. I love the fact that the one week is the one thing, and the next week the next bush is in full colour all of a sudden.
Not that they last very long. I guess they will only have the flowers in there for like a week or two, maybe a bit more if the weather stays this way.
But that doesn't really matter. At this pace it will mean that the next flourishing thing will be waiting around the corner for their turn.
Im not really that fond of seasons because I truly dislike a couple of them. But this season...even though it is pissing cats and dogs...fair enough, maybe I like it a bit more than I am willing to admit.
But maybe I would enjoy it juuuust a bit more if the sun would be shining on it. It's time to let ourselves out again!
