Landscape at Sangangüey Volcano, my entry to today's Monomad Challenge.

Yesterday I went near to the Sangangüey volcano, which is one of the volcanoes surrounding the city of Tepic, the idea was to go for a hike, and in my case to take pictures, although beer and air rifles couldn't be missing, just in case they were necessary.

Of all the pictures I took of the volcano, this was the one I liked the most, normally when I start taking pictures somewhere, I don't like the first two or three pictures, but yesterday it was different and the first picture was the one I liked the most.

But as I always say, it's better to take more pictures even when you think the picture you took is good, it's better to have different angles and framing.

And well, as I said the air rifles went with us too, even if you can't hunt anything as it happened yesterday, you can still have fun practicing your aim against some can or canister, but always keeping in mind to pick up and carry your garbage with you.

And to finish the post, the last picture of this series in black and white, the truth is that I thought the picture would look better, but there was too much contrast between light and shadows, and as I didn't have my tripod with me, I didn't want to try the HDR since my idea was to illuminate the path to direct the eyes, the truth is that I feel that I needed to improve my technique in this picture, but as I always say, I'm still learning.
