The Poison In The Picking: A Witcher 3 Saga
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
Hunting Witches And Demons!
Well guys and gals I am back with "The Witcher 3 Saga!" How could I ever forget about this gem of a game? Just how! I checked on my history of Hive I posted about this game the last time in last December! How even!
Either or it doesn't matter now! All that matters now is that I am back to slaying these monsters! It felt so damn good to jump in and do some witcher plays for a change! YEAH YEAH I'll be honest and admit that I don't really know where I was last but let's just jam it off!
Clan An Craite.
Okay I've got some of my bearings back! The voting of who would be king of Skellige was taking place!
I can't exactly remember who I chose to be victor or who I sided with to be victor of this choosing but I do know that I want to pick Cerys this time around so she has my full support for leading the Skelliger's to whatever she would!
What a fire hearted woman! Doesn't take shit from nobody!
Birna didn't seem to like the idea of picking a new king, rather she'd have one fall in succession. It seems she doesn't know the way of the Skelligers? Is she even a Skelliger?
Clan An Craite's Succession!
Personally I think someone from Clan An Craite should rule the isles... they are a hard breed of people who needs hard leaders who would do what no one else would! HARD PEOPLE!
I was fishing out about Crach's thoughts on the matter and if he might feel conflicted between choosing between his son or daughter, it seems he has no problem if either takes the crown... aslong as it's a An Craite sitting the throne!
I do have to agree!
A Bear Released At The Feast?
This is the work of some treacherous person! No doubt!
While me and Crach was busy exchanging words three bears got let loose in the feasting hall but I doubt this entire situation was as simple as it looks!
At this point no one had a choice but to draw blades at the big fury beasts! We were all in the thick of it now! Geralt had no choice but to help slay the beasts!
Plotting Is To Be Expected!
Who would have expected anything else? Anything else at all right?
Everyone is accusing everyone now and of-course those who are already closer to the throne gets blamed first and straight off the bat!
I was left to pick between helping Cerys or Hjalmar... I without a doubt chose to support Cerys in this matter, she seems to be able to keep a cool head in a confusing situation!
Sacks Of Evidence!
After scouring the feasting hall for anything that might shift us into the right direction, the place was about as messy as a field after a battle has been fought on it!
But through all the blood and guts Geralt did manage to pick up an earthy aroma from the mead that was shared the night! Picked up a nice trail on it as well!
The Priest Was Of Much Use!
Even though I so blatantly interupted him from his prayers he still managed to be of great help! He called out the mushroom in question and sort of led us right to the barrel of mead suspected to be poisoned.
Not literally but with the information we got we could find the barrel and what happened after is where the real action starts!
The real cover it up!
Being Watched!
Without a doubt someone has been following and trailing us this entire time! It only makes sense right?
As soon as Geralt discovered the barrel the place was set a blaze! This was planned ahead otherwise there would be no flammable substance poured out on the ground!
Who would go to such lengths to secure someone's victory on the throne or just to kill someone plain and simple?
With Haste!
Geralt and Cerys was fortunate enough to have escaped the burning cellars and in this process they also managed to track the culprit, of-course... Geralt has the nose of a wolf it is to be expected and why anyone would attempt such a thing with a Witcher in the castle is just baffling!
Mind blowingly stupid! And then he made this huge raccuss of escaping as well! People rarely think things through hey!
A Righteous mess this turned out to be! Now there's bloodshed or wait nah... the bloodshed already started this is just more of that...
Unfortunes And Fortunes.
This comes as no surprise but Arnvald didn't make it out alive, we did try to save his life but he was caught between a rock and a hard place and he chose the rock, rather the hard place? Living is still living?
Well he had a key on his person and that key led us back to his place of living and that in turn led us to find a locked box with a letter inside... A Letter with Birna's perfume clinging to it?
Can this be a coincidence? I think not!
Birna The Deceiver!
As always when confronted all is denied... All! She's out and out a deceiver, you can see the look on her face... But she almost had it! She really did! Until her son gave her out! HER OWN SON! Now that is something for the looks of history!
Dang and she is going to get one hell of a punishment!
She is to be chained to a rock and perish of hunger and thirst and left there so that the seafoul can peck at her remains. Hectic!

I started to be interested in this game since I saw the series that came out several years ago and watching the game, the series does not honor the great, extensive world that this universe has.
The series is pretty good.. atleast I liked it a lot... either or the game is always amazing! This is like my fourth replay and it is still loads of fun
I watched a couple of episodes only in the series. Didn't felt the same when I played it. It was much more fun playing this amazing game than watching the series to me. Maybe I didn't give it enough time or I was there to just enjoy the world and combat.
The series at first was not as good, it wasn't it was confusing but I think they managed to narrow out the faults and fix on them. I think it migut have been hard to really express The Witcher series in the correct manner.
But I do fully understand what you mean
We talking about the horrible netflix show? If so the thing to remember about them is that they are a very CRAPPY "Adaptation" of the book series. With the writers not even following the actual lore and story in later seasons, which is why Henry Cavill left.
The games take place after the events of the books, with the first game taking place 5 years after the ending of Lady of the Lake ( Final Book), TW2 happens 1 month after TW1 and TW3 happens 6 months after TW2.
