I consider that there is a video game for a specific time and situation. For example, to relax, I would play Minecraft. To stress out and hate my life, I would play League of Legends. And to let off steam and release tension, I would play Doom Eternal.
Yo considero que existe un videojuego para un momento y situación específica. Por ejemplo, para relajarme, jugaría Minecraft. Para estresarme y odiar mi vida, jugaría League of Legends. Y para desahogarme y liberar tensión, jugaría Doom Eternal.
I was lucky enough to try this game in 2020, in quarantine time. I admit that I started playing it mostly because of pressure and because I had it for free. Since an acquaintance lent it to me. Through Steam he gave me access to it.

Honestly, up to that point I had never played any Doom game before. Besides, personally, I'm not a big fan of shooter style games.

What got me most about this game is how dynamic it is. Once you learn how to control the different mechanics, like jumping, the hook shotgun, the chainsaw, etc. It becomes very fluid. From that point on, the game becomes very rewarding and satisfying. Although this is also going to depend on the difficulty you have it on. Personally, I played it in normal mode.
Lo que más me atrapó de este juego es lo dinámico que es. Una vez que aprendes a controlar las distintas mecánicas, como el salto, la escopeta con gancho, la motosierra, etc. Se vuelve muy fluido. A partir de ese momento, el juego se vuelve muy gratificante y satisfactorio. Aunque esto también va a depender de la dificultad en que lo tengas. En lo personal, lo jugué en modo normal.
To this we must add that excellent selection of music. That Metal style is a perfect complement to the game mode. Listening to that electric guitar while you are jumping all over the place and killing demons with the chainsaw is simply the best. I think that the combination of such good mechanics and the soundtrack makes the game addictive at a certain point.
A esto hay que sumar esa excelente selección de música. Ese estilo Metal es un complemento perfecto para el modo del juego. Escuchar esa guitarra eléctrica mientras estás dando saltos por todos lados y asesinando demonios con la motosierra, es simplemente lo mejor. Creo que esa combinación entre mecánicas tan buena y esa banda sonora, hace que el juego sea adictivo en un cierto punto.
Another thing I liked about Doom Eternal is the pauses or breaks between fights. It's very necessary after a while of slaughtering demons and dodging. It's good to have those little moments where you have the chance to explore and relax, before continuing to destroy infernal beings.

I'm going to be honest with you. I know this game has a story, but I didn't give it any thought. I didn't really care too much about it. I just wanted to slash, burn, shoot and explode. And that was my whole gameplay.

I was very pleased with the ending. The final confrontation with the icon of sin was an excellent decision. I liked that he had a goat's head and was ten meters tall. It's a worthy battle for the end of this incredible game. In particular, I had a hard time with this boss. Even though I played it in normal mode. I've never been too good when it comes to mechanics 😅
El final me dejó muy conforme. Fue una excelente decisión el enfrentamiento final con el icono del pecado. Me gustó que tuviera cabeza de cabra y mida decena de metros. Es una batalla digna para el final de este increíble juego. En lo particular, me costó bastante este jefe. Aunque lo haya jugado en modo normal. Nunca fui demasiado buen cuando se trata de mecánicas 😅
In conclusion, this is an excellent game. If I had to rate it, I would give it a 9/10. It is entertaining, dynamic, fun and satisfying. To the point that while I'm writing this, it makes me want to play it again. But this time on the highest difficulty. Even if it takes me weeks to play it 😅
En conclusión, este es un juego excelente. Si tuviera que calificarlo, le daría un 9/10. Es entretenido, dinámico, divertido y satisfactorio. Al punto que mientras estoy escribiendo esto, me dan ganas de volver a jugarlo. Pero esta vez en la dificultad más alta. Aunque tarde semanas en pasarlo 😅

Hola, Muy buen post, es un reto este juego, no tienes idea las veces que he ma dado dolor de cabeza de tanto mareo en cuanto a saltar, correr esquivar disparar, te comprendo muy bien. En cuanto el lore, no es malo es muy bueno, el track lo escucho siempre cuando leo o hago un post, es uno de los mejores juegos que hay, recuerdo que juego vi el trailer de la E3 del Doom 2016 y me enamoro en todos los sentidos este juego al igual que el Doom eternal, ahora espero que sea igual o mejor el siguiente DOOM!

Con razon jajaja... es un pequeño error, aun amigo le paso lo mismo que tu, yo le recomende que viera un gameplay de doom 2016 y luego que jugara el mismo juego y luego de que pasara el primer juego, que ya de una se lanze el Doom Eternal. Me hizo caso y le fui muy y le ayudo mucho! Me alegra que te alla gustado, por cierto te jugastes los DLC? son muy buenos!!

Lo que si me acuerdo que hice, fue desbloquear la Desmaykr. Me costó bastante desbloquear esa arma jaja

The good thing about this game is that you can play it more than once. So it could give you 2 or 3 games.

Juegazo. Lograron perfeccionar lo que habían hecho con la precuela y eso era bastante difícil.
Me identifico con esto jaja, yo me lo pasé y tampoco me enteré mucho de que trataba la historia, solo quería avanzar y seguir matando a todo lo que me pongan de frente jaja. Tengo muchas ganas de ver que harán con el próximo juego.
Eso es verdad por lo que escuché hubo muchas mejoras con respecto al juego del 2016.
Es que la verdad, estos juegos no son para disfrutar la historia ajaj. No es un The Last Of Us. Es para matar bichos jajaj
