Greetings to all needle artists and supporters!
Welcome to NeedleWorkMonday Community’s
276th Featured Posts!
This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own HIVEians.
Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts, posting from the NeedleWorkMonday Community and using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

Let us as a community, continue to show our love and support by visiting and commenting on each other's work while inspiring one another with the beautiful works of needle art that we do. Nothing makes a heart happier than to read a supportive comment from a fellow member!
Here are our featured posts this week:
Crocheting by Lamp Light in a Storm
"Yesterday, a storm brought heavy rains, strong winds and flooded roads with fallen trees. The sky was gloomy and dark, and the power was out all day. Without phone signals, people were left wondering what to do, unable to go online.
While we waited for the electricity to return, I took the chance to enjoy a different experience: crafting in the soft, dim light. Without candles, I made myself an oil lamp."
Basic cosmetic carrier with pockets to hold lipsticks and compact powder ( ENG/ESP)
"Hello friends creators of art with threads and needles, today I share with you a basic cosmetic holder with pockets that separate and prevent damage to the lipsticks and powder compacts, one of the cosmetics that we are most concerned that we are damaged because they are delicate and also if they are damaged inside the bag would be chaos because of the amount of stains that would cause. For that reason I thought of making my cosmetic carrier adapted to my needs."

"It's quite a busy day for me, hence my reason for posting now.
How are you all coping with the orders as a result of the festive period?
There are so people in my area who have started making their outfit for the festive season because they know how busy many fashion designers around get.
Some are too afraid to get disappointed, so they are like the wise virgins preparing themselves before the bridegroom arrives.
Here is Tochi's two piece in a different way. I know that many love their two piece outfit to be of the same fabrics but Tochi rocked a cord lace crop top on a silk fabric as her own two piece."
Sewing ruffle and embroidery to compliment my friends pretty blouse.
"For today I found myself cracking my brain on what finishing touches or embellishment I can add to an already beautiful outfits.
Have you ever made a project that didn't find an acceptance with it's owner. Well this is my very first experience where someone feels like what I have designed for them is not good enough.
Maybe someone from the community understands how it feels when you do your best to sew an outfit for a friend or a customer and they don't find it good enough. Negative compliments often kills ones morals but instead of seeing it from the negative point of view we have to wave off how we feel and take that as a challenge to improve and do better."
