Concurso comunitario Ladies of Hive #90 / @lilianajimenez
Saludos a todas amigas de Ladies of Hive, espero que estén muy bien.
Ya estamos en el concurso ¡número 90! y me entusiasma mucho participar en esta ronda porque una de las propuestas me toca de cerca.
Si ya has participado, me imagino que ya conoces la dinámica de estos concursos, en los que nos dan dos opciones a responder. Esta vez las interrogantes o los temas son:
1) Cuéntanos sobre tus pasiones, como pintar, bailar, dibujar, tejer, tomar fotografías, etc. El cielo es el límite, ¡cualquier cosa que te haga feliz es una pasión!
O ésta:
2) Cuéntanos sobre tu emprendimiento, proyecto, negocio o plan para mejorar tu situación económica. Cuando apareció la idea, ¿Cómo hiciste el plan de negocios? ¿Ha sido difícil encontrar proveedores o insumos? ¿Se han identificado los clientes con su servicio?
Esta vez responderé a ambas proposiciones, pero me enfocaré mucho más en la segunda opción.

Soy una manitas ¿Así se dice? me gusta realizar todo tipo de manualidades o actividades que tengan que ver con elaborar con mis propias manos todo tipo de adornos, detalles y decoraciones. Soy de esas que realizan la ropa de sus hijos, ya sea confeccionada con máquina de coser o tejiendo. También me gusta pintar sobre tela, madera, piedras y más. Considero que tengo habilidad para manipular materiales y la destreza para que me queden muy lindas las cosas que hago.
Hacer todo este tipo de actividades me relaja un montón. El tiempo que paso mientras hago manualidades (tejo, confecciono ropa, pinto sobre tela, fabrico bisutería, tarjetería y otras cosas más) lo disfruto al máximo, porque me relaja increíblemente, y lo que es mejor el resultado final me llena de orgullo y me inspira a ir por más.
Les comparto un collage con algunas de las cosas que me gusta hacer:
Estoy pensando seriamente en recuperar mi taller (mini taller) de materiales. Comprando y renovando las cosas que tengo, ya que con el tiempo han ido deteriorándose, acabándose o perdiéndose.
Ahora pasemos al siguiente ítem donde el tema es:
2) Cuéntanos sobre tu emprendimiento, proyecto, negocio o plan para mejorar tu situación económica. Cuando apareció la idea, ¿Cómo hiciste el plan de negocios? ¿Ha sido difícil encontrar proveedores o insumos? ¿Se han identificado los clientes con su servicio?
Es en este tema en particular en el que me extenderé un poco más, puesto que es en este momento de mi vida el proyecto, lo colocaré así "El proyecto" es decir el GRAN proyecto, en el que mi esposo y yo estamos poniendo todas nuestras energías.
Se llama "Panchitas Burgers" (Mi esposo se llama Francisco y le dicen Pancho, de allí el nombre de nuestra empresa)
y es un restaurante de comida rápida que ofrece deliciosas hamburguesas, perros calientes, granjeros, papas fritas y muchas cosas más.
¿Cómo empezó Panchitas Burgers?
Durante mucho tiempo mi esposo barajó la idea de vender hamburguesas. Siempre le han quedado muy sabrosas las hamburguesas, perritos calientes, club house, granjeros. El trabajaba de taxista y yo era docente en un liceo de secundaria. El tiempo y las obligaciones le hicieron posponer la idea de vender comida rápida, pero llegó el momento en que la situación de nuestro país (Somos venezolanos) se deterioró tanto que se nos hizo muy difícil mantener las reparaciones del carro que mi esposo utilizaba para trabajar. Y en mi trabajo era mínimo el sueldo que devengaba, de manera que la idea de vender hamburguesas fue tomando peso, hasta convertirse en una realidad.
Panchitas Burgers abrió sus puertas un viernes 6 de marzo del año 2020. Ese primer día estábamos muy ansiosos y cargados de expectativas, grandes interrogantes y llenos de mucha ilusión. Solo tuvimos un cliente ese día, pero aquella fue una hamburguesa preparada con esmero, amor y agradecimiento. Desde ese día todas las hamburguesas y demás comidas que hemos preparados han sido preparadas con ese mismo entusiasmo, amor y agradecimiento.
No comenzamos solos. Mi hermano y su esposa fueron un apoyo vital durante esos primeros meses. Nos ayudaban en todo cuánto podían y para nosotros esa colaboración fue siempre muy valiosa. Luego tuvieron que mudarse y se les hizo muy complicado poder estar de lleno en el restaurante.
Anatomía de nuestras Panchitas
No teníamos un local o un establecimiento para iniciar con el restaurant, pero eso no nos frenó. Comenzamos a preparar las hamburguesas en la cocina de nuestra casa y atendíamos a los clientes en la entrada de la misma. Nuestra casa tiene un garaje bastante amplio y está conectado a un jardín con piso de baldosas y cemento. El lugar se prestó para un ambiente al aire libre y fue allí donde acomodamos mesas, sillas, plantas, letreros y más para acondicionar el espacio y poder recibir allí a las personas que quisieran probar nuestras hamburguesas.
Fuimos aprendiendo o mejor dicho perfeccionando lo que ya sabíamos acerca de cocinar hamburguesas. Creamos nuestro propio sabor, es decir, preparamos diferentes mayonesas y kétchups con variados ingredientes hasta dar con las que nos gustaban y así quedaron estandarizadas las recetas para que siempre nuestras salsas y aderezos tengan el mismo delicioso sabor. Esta es una de las cosas que más gustan a nuestros clientes. Siempre celebran el sabor de Panchitas Burgers diciendo que en ningún otro lugar han probado algo parecido.
Así como con las salsas, también hicimos con el adobado de la carne y el corte de esta en específico. Dimos con el punto en el sabor que más nos agradó y también lo estandarizamos. Así que nuestra carne de hamburguesas también tiene un toque y un sabor únicos. Nos falta comprarnos un buen horno para hacer nosotros mismos el pan, mientras tanto lo mandamos a preparar especialmente para nosotros en la panadería de un gran amigo.
En cuanto a los vegetales, mi esposo se encarga siempre de elegir los más frescos y bonitos. Me gusta la lechuga que usamos porque es de un verde muy llamativo y además tiene esa especie de faralaos o volantes muy alocados y divertidos.
Nuestro negocio de hamburguesas en una Venezuela tambaleante
Les conté al inicio que al no contar con un local preparábamos las hamburguesas en nuestra cocina casera. Pues bien, después de pensar y meditar tomamos la decisión de vender el carro (el taxi) y con el dinero que obtuvimos remodelamos la entrada (donde estaba el jardín) y allí se construyó la nueva cocina de Panchitas. Seguimos con la idea de estar "Al aire libre" y nos enfocamos en mantenernos en ese estilo. Es así como está ahora.
Las personas que vienen a probar nuestros productos, siempre nos dicen que son deliciosos, que están encantados con el sabor y eso nos llena de alegría. Pero, peeeero, a veces pasamos largos días sin recibir un solo cliente y eso nos desanima mucho. Comenzamos a cuestionarnos si habrá cambiado el sabor, la calidad o nuestra atención al cliente. Nos llenamos de dudas y nos angustiamos. Luego vuelven de nuevo los antiguos clientes, nuevos clientes y asiduos clientes y nos llenan de elogios asegurándonos que adoran nuestras hamburguesas.
Me he dado cuenta que es la economía general la que mantiene a los clientes algo alejados, pero me alegro muchísimo al comprobar que cuando tienen la posibilidad de darse un gusto, nos eligen a nosotros y eso ya me dice mucho. Entonces he decidido no desanimarme ni darme por vencida. Nuestro producto es bueno, a la gente le encanta y siempre que pueden vuelven. Gracias a Dios por eso.
Futuro:
En el futuro veo a Panchitas Burgers, como una empresa bien establecida que cuenta con sucursales y que sigue dando el mejor servicio, ofreciendo deliciosas comidas y momentos agradables. Estoy segura de que mi esposo y yo nos veremos en la feliz situación de contratar personal y seguir ampliando nuestro negocio. Estoy preparada, entusiasmada y agradecida.

Emprender un proyecto suele darnos algo de nervios o dudas, pero lo importante está en dar el primer paso, y una vez montados perseverar hasta alcanzar el éxito.

This time I will respond to both propositions, but I will focus much more on the second option.

I'm a handyman. Is that how you say it? I like to do all kinds of crafts or activities that have to do with making all kinds of ornaments, details and decorations with my own hands. I am one of those who make their children's clothes, whether made with a sewing machine or by weaving. I also like to paint on fabric, wood, stones and more. I consider that I have the ability to manipulate materials and the skill to make the things I do look very nice.
Doing all these kinds of activities relaxes me a lot. The time I spend doing crafts (knitting, making clothes, painting on fabric, making jewelry, cards and other things) I enjoy it to the fullest, because it relaxes me incredibly, and what is even better, the final result fills me with pride and inspires you to go for more.
I share a collage with some of the things I like to do:
I am seriously thinking about recovering my workshop (mini workshop) of materials. Buying and renovating the things I have, since over time they have been deteriorating, running out or being lost.
Now let's move on to the next item where the topic is:

It is on this topic in particular that I will expand a little more, since it is at this moment in my life the project, I will place it like this "The project" that is, the GREAT project, in which my husband and I are putting all our energies.
It's called "Panchitas Burgers" (My husband's name is Francisco and they call him Pancho, hence the name of our company)
and it is a fast food restaurant that offers delicious burgers, hot dogs, farmers, french fries and many more things.
How did Panchitas Burgers start?
For a long time my husband toyed with the idea of selling hamburgers. Hamburgers, hot dogs, club house, farmers have always been very tasty. He worked as a taxi driver and I was a teacher at a high school. Time and obligations made him postpone the idea of selling fast food, but the time came when the situation in our country (We are Venezuelans) deteriorated so much that it became very difficult for us to maintain the repairs on the car that my husband used to work. . And in my job the salary I earned was minimal, so the idea of selling hamburgers gained weight, until it became a reality.
Panchitas Burgers opened its doors on Friday, March 6, 2020. That first day we were very anxious and full of expectations, big questions and full of great enthusiasm. We only had one customer that day, but that was a hamburger prepared with care, love and gratitude. Since that day all the hamburgers and other meals we have prepared have been prepared with that same enthusiasm, love and gratitude.
We don't start alone. My brother and his wife were a vital support during those first few months. They helped us in everything they could and for us that collaboration was always very valuable. Then they had to move and it was very difficult for them to be fully in the restaurant.
Anatomy of our Panchitas
We didn't have a local or an establishment to start with the restaurant, but that didn't stop us. We began to prepare the hamburgers in the kitchen of our house and we served customers at the entrance of it. Our house has a fairly large garage and is connected to a garden with a tiled and cement floor. The place lent itself to an outdoor environment and it was there that we arranged tables, chairs, plants, signs and more to prepare the space and be able to receive people who wanted to try our burgers there.
We were learning or rather perfecting what we already knew about cooking hamburgers. We created our own flavor, that is, we prepared different mayonnaise and ketchups with various ingredients until we found the ones we liked and thus the recipes were standardized so that our sauces and dressings always have the same delicious flavor. This is one of the things that our customers like the most. They always celebrate the taste of Panchitas Burgers saying that they have never tried anything like it anywhere else.
As well as with the sauces, we also did with the meat marinade and the specific cut of the meat. We found the point in the flavor that we liked the most and we also standardized it. So our hamburger meat also has a unique touch and flavor. We still need to buy a good oven to make our own bread, meanwhile we have it prepared especially for us at a great friend's bakery.
As for the vegetables, my husband is always in charge of choosing the freshest and most beautiful ones. I like the lettuce that we use because it is a very striking green and also has that kind of crazy and fun faralaos or ruffles.
Our hamburger business in a shaky Venezuela
I told you at the beginning that since we did not have a local, we prepared the hamburgers in our home kitchen. Well, after thinking and meditating we made the decision to sell the car (the taxi) and with the money we obtained we remodeled the entrance (where the garden was) and Panchitas' new kitchen was built there. We continue with the idea of being "Outdoors" and we focus on staying in that style. This is how it is now.
People who come to try our products always tell us that they are delicious, that they are delighted with the taste and that fills us with joy. But, but, sometimes we go long days without receiving a single client and that discourages us a lot. We begin to question whether the taste, the quality or our customer service has changed. We fill ourselves with doubts and anguish. Then old customers, new customers, and regulars come back and shower us with compliments, assuring us that they love our burgers.
I have realized that it is the general economy that keeps customers away, but I am very happy to see that when they have the possibility to treat themselves, they choose us and that already tells me a lot. So I have decided not to get discouraged or give up. Our product is good, people love it and they come back whenever they can. Thank God for that.
Future:
In the future I see Panchitas Burgers as a well-established company that has branches and continues to provide the best service, offering delicious meals and pleasant moments. I am sure that my husband and I will find ourselves in the happy position of hiring staff and continuing to expand our business. I am ready, excited and grateful.

Undertaking a project usually gives us some nerves or doubts, but the important thing is to take the first step, and once assembled, persevere until achieving success.

he quedado fascinada por tu historia de emprendimiento. Lo de estandarizar sabores, insumos y productos es un gran acierto. Así se diferencian de los demás. Ir ampliando el negocio, significa que ya tienen una clientela comprometida y eso es uno de los pasos mas dificiles, lograr fidelidad del cliente.
