DON'T BE YOUR LIMITATION

Today, somebody might be depressed because of me. They'll see the beautiful pictures, the many wonderful words and the celebration from my family and friends. It will remind them of something, of how mundane their life has been. The beauty in the pictures, the attention, my face and name on many statuses, it'll come at their heart badly. Not because they are bad people. But because there's a huge void, a question they can't answer, a future they can't predict, a present that is far from what they hoped for and prayed for. I know, because I've been there a number of times.

What they won't know is that behind these beautiful pictures and showers of love is a woman who has her share of pain and nights of struggle with staying sane. A woman who survives and thrives, not because her present is a perfect picture of
her heart's desire, but because she is anchored in the overwhelming love of Abba.

Feeding on the Father's (God) love for me, that's my survival strategy. His love, His unending love is a place of total rest for me. Time stops. Mountains appear like sand moulds and I become handicapped towards life's storms: blind to the arrows
and deaf to the noise. I love Abba's peace. I love how His love steadies me.

Feeding on the Father's love for me. That is how I thrive on this globe of tribulations. The Lord, He is my anchor.

Soft reminder: Nothing in this world can truly satisfy.

You have all it takes to be great ,you just need to believe in yourself and have the courage to fight the fear and doubts inside of you.

A mind that is clouded by doubt and fear can not see the path to success.

How many of us know what we want to achieve and where we want to be in life, but are held back by a little voice in our mind that's full of doubt, afraid of what might happen?

Sound familiar? I think it’s safe to say we have all been there at one time or another, standing on the edge of change, excited, but equally gripped by fear. We want to step forward, but something is holding us back, so we stay where we are.

But what’s the worst that could happen if you took that step into the unknown?

You don’t succeed. That's it. And yet that is enough to put so many people off from trying in the first place.

We give up on our goals and dreams because of this one little thing, “that we might not succeed”. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, you will try and succeed?

Imagine for a moment the best case scenario, you try and you succeed. What does that look like? How does it feel? How will that impact your life?

And equally, what does it matter if we fall short, at least we have tried and learnt something in the process.

Don't live a life constrained by fear, our time is limited and too valuable not to live the life we want. Accept that there will be ups and downs along the way, learn from the downs, enjoy the ups and never stop pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
