Hive Music Festival Week #103 Round 1 || A Cover of "Open the Flood Gate" [Eng/Esp]

Hello friends of the hive Music zone community, my name is @jesus-son. I welcome you to week 103 Round 1 of the Hive Music Festival. I hope that you find my interpretation for this week to be interesting.

In this post I shall deliberate succinctly on the abundance of God's riches. This I shall do with a cover of the song "Open the flood gate". This is one of the songs by the great Ghanian International and award winning gospel artiste, Dr. Sunnie Badu. He was born in the United Kingdom by a Ghanian parent and at an early stage of his life, he received the inspiration to go into Music.

Sunnie is an author of many gospel songs and has won lots of awards in the music industry. As a matter of fact, he is well recognised in the European gospel Music. This song "Open the flood gate is one song that I had listened to a very long time ago but very passively.

As I pondered on what to bring to the table in this week, my mind just ruminated around this song but I discovered that I was not knowledgeable of the full lyrics and therefore I went in search of the lyrics and upon finding it, I tried to learn and know it by heart.

Learning about the full lyrics added to my inspiration to present this song here. The lyrics so much struck my heart and made me ponder deeply about the abundance of God's riches. Indeed, our God is full of many goodies that cannot be fully tapped.

The sweet things is that He keeps inviting us to partake of this abundant riches just by believing in Him and accepting to live according to His precepts. The way of our God is so light but many a times we choose the hard way because of the momentary pleasures that are attached to them. Here we are called upon to do an examination of conscience and be sure of who we wish to be and how we want to live.

En esta publicación deliberaré sucintamente sobre la abundancia de las riquezas de Dios. Esto lo haré con una versión de la canción "Open the Flood Gate". Esta es una de las canciones del gran artista de gospel Ghanian International y galardonado, Dr. Sunnie Badu. Nació en el Reino Unido de padres ghaneses y en una etapa temprana de su vida recibió la inspiración para dedicarse a la música.

Sunnie es autora de muchas canciones gospel y ha ganado muchos premios en la industria musical. De hecho, es muy reconocido en la música gospel europea. Esta canción "Open the Flood Gate" es una canción que había escuchado hace mucho tiempo pero de forma muy pasiva.

Mientras reflexionaba sobre qué traer a la mesa esta semana, mi mente simplemente reflexionó sobre esta canción, pero descubrí que no conocía la letra completa y, por lo tanto, fui a buscar la letra y, al encontrarla, intenté aprendelo y conócelo de memoria.

Conocer la letra completa se sumó a mi inspiración para presentar esta canción aquí. La letra me impactó mucho el corazón y me hizo reflexionar profundamente sobre la abundancia de las riquezas de Dios. De hecho, nuestro Dios está lleno de muchos bienes que no se pueden aprovechar plenamente.

Lo dulce es que Él nos sigue invitando a participar de estas abundantes riquezas con solo creer en Él y aceptar vivir según Sus preceptos. El camino de nuestro Dios es muy ligero pero muchas veces elegimos el camino difícil debido a los placeres momentáneos que conlleva. Aquí estamos llamados a hacer un examen de conciencia y estar seguros de quiénes queremos ser y cómo queremos vivir.
