Should @splinterlands Create 3 Separate DAO Proposals to "Improve" Riftwatchers Sale?
The Riftwatchers was another wonderful success that I managed to partially capitalize on. It was like one of those ICOs that ended in a near instance. What I didn't know was that there were few more good sales happening that helped both developers and Splinterlands DAO financially
What is Being Proposed
You can read the full article here. It describe all the good things happened with Node License sales, Chaos Legion Packs and few other things and then goes into the problems faced during and after the Presale including the obvious UI issues.
35 Hours Left to Comment
The community plays a very important part in @splinterlands as is not another centralized game. Pseudo Web 3 games such as Axie Infinity are acting exactly like traditional Web 3 games with a blockchain component. When Axies can get banned; do the NFT part even matter? This is why I call them Pseudo Web 3. We are better than that. There is already good discussions happening under the article.
Example Comment: @ginger-bread
This is only one of the very detailed and intelligent comments in the discussion. Many users are not treating the various factors as all "Yes" or "No" votes. If these were presented in a single DAO proposal, it would mean many voters will have to make a compromised and weighted decision that are less representative of what they really feel as the best course of action.
3 Separate Proposals Solve This
It barely takes any extra work or cost to present these 3 points as separate proposals with the same time frame to vote. I strongly urge @aggroed @yabapmatt and rest of the developers to consider this.
- There Should Be 3 Separate Proposals
- All or Nothing Single Proposals
