Nature's lessons about the Hive price.

Some days the mountains are clear and bright in the sun.
258.jpg

The birds are happily singing away on the clear days and the flowers are dancing in the sun.

But then on the cloudy days, especially if rain is expected, everyone is running around, anxious about their nests and holes and even more anxious about food.
Little tolerance for each other is at work and a general dark mood exists.
Now is that not exactly the same in our lives?

So the clouds have arrived to temporarily dampen the Hive price.
242.jpg

Temporarily, as we all know that after a period the sun will shine again.
255.jpg

But we have plans and whenever our plans are not working according to our desires, then we throw fits and many of us run around, like the birds in the photo, trying to find out what has happened.
279.jpg

Instead, life just follows it's normal course of highs and lows that are so identical to nature.
283.jpg

So slowly the night approaches and like the animals we all hope that the morrow will be better.
312.jpg

Many of us even scurry in our efforts to make our morrows better. Buying the dip rings a bell here. These are the ones that know that the clouds will not last.
302.jpg

Acceptance of life's ways and an eye for opportunity in the "bad" times can alleviate so many of our moans.
299.jpg

Such is life is one of my favorite sayings.
314.jpg

The unexpected always shows me how unprepared so many of us are when bad news sticks it's head out. Many people have lost their jobs here and they have nothing to fall back on. No plan B, as the Covid lockdowns took everything away from them.

Imagine losing everything that you own in forfeitures. You have invested all of your money in your little business and accumulated much debt in the process. Only to forfeit everything, your house and car, everything in a lockdown as you have no clients, meaning no income.

So nature's lesson here today is simple. Prepare for the unexpected. Or even more simpler, prepare for the rainy days by saving as much as you can.

And That's All Friends.

Rainy days do arrive, being prepared as best as we are able without allowing our emotional feelings take us in a tide of despair.

Here today can be gone tomorrow, or back again nothing is ever sealed tight, constant change including your wallet! Hang onto your dreams, hold out in the downpour, tomorrow is never promised!

Exactly the emotional tides that we have to tame Lady Joan.
Preparation and endurance can stem many of the tides.

Been here long enough to learn how to manage the changes in the wallet and the best that I found was it is best to just ignore them and to move on. No panic necessary, as what will be shall be.
Old enough to know that nothing is permanent and change is a constant.

Thank you kindly for the tipu.

Not many people were complaining about the hive price when it was 80 cents, but now that it has fallen back from an ATH people feel hurt. They have to remember that a business builds value over time and not over night

Oh yes, you are right, but we will always have moaners and groaners, as we are all different.
Time is certainly of the essence here.

Wow! Mountain and White Cloud both look awesome. It is as if the sky and the white clouds are coming down right after the mountain. Great thinking and beautiful photography you shared.

It is a downdraught behind the mountain range that draws the clouds down. Sort of a trough that gets filled by the clouds.
Glad that you liked it.

The mountain are one of my favorite places. From where the white clouds can be seen very close. The place you photographed is truly amazing.

Those are spectacular ❤️

As for the Hive price, isn't it still well over a dollar? I would say it pumped well, let it rest for a while. We don't want a huge pump, then down to 30 cents, do we?

Thank you kindly.

Anything can happen in crypto land and one just has to endure the storms, as the sun will shine again in time.
If it ever goes down to 30 cents, it would be a great time to buy.

Yes it would be pretty awesome to buy it for anything under 50 cents really. But you can bet, instead of buying, some people would be mourning their smaller portfolio. I see it every day with other projects.

Through the years we have seen very low numbers on Hive my friend and most long timers here have stuck it out. Whether it goes both ways, up or down is not a worry for me, as I am here for the long run.
So we will talk about this again in 5 years and even 10 years time.

The difference is, when we talk about it again in ten years, we will probably be rich 🙌 All that HP at $50 each won't be small potatoes!

Nature can indeed teach us so many lessons if we just slow down open our eyes and mids to see them

Instead, life just follows it's normal course of highs and lows that are so identical to nature.
So well said

have a good weekend

Thank you JJ and it is indeed true what you had to say here.
That's why we have seasons and it has taken time for all to get used to them.
Just so it is with the crypto coins and nature can teach us acceptance.

Hope that your weekend is also good.

I liked the yellowlish clouds over the mountain.

I think that this is an usual correction for HIVE as well as the other cryptocurrencies. HIVE has much more potential to come than where it is today.

So true in what you say and the key words to this as you said try and save for them rainy days if possible.

0

avatar

They used to say that one should save at least 3 months equivalent to 3 moths salary.
Then the amount changed to 6 months and now it stands at 1 year of one's income saved.
Never a bad idea, but there are so many instant loans available that it lures many into big debts.

People can just not understand that debt can become a big pitfall when they lose their jobs.

The problem it is more easily said then done and yes that is the pitfall I have said it many times myself but their is always something unexpected that comes in and ruins the plan but I do keep some buried for them rainy days 😊

Rain makes things grow! I was just reading price projections for HIVE on various financial/crypto websites and the future is so bright I got out my shades! End of 2022 price projections were $3.50 to $6.00 while 2028-2030 projections went as high as $70.00!!! Can you say retirement fund? That's a way better return than stocks. Yep rain makes things grow!

Sounds very good doesn't it? If I can get 1 million ZAR into Papillon's account it will fund my dream project. I want to start a community bakery that will work on the same principle as Hive 50/50.
50% of the bread will go for free to the poorest families in the community and 50% will be sold to the general public. The income will be used to buy the raw materials.
There will be no salary costs, as volunteers from the communities will be working in the bakery on a rotational basis, as they will be trained to bake bread for their own use and for their families.

So yes, in time on Hive this can certainly come true.
Thank you kindly for the gift.

I've been reading about the charity work you do there and it is truly both impressive and amazing. The bakery idea is incredible but the work you do for the children and the poor on a daily basis is more than commendable. Expect more in the future in the way of gifts. I have seriously been contemplating blogging 6 days a week for some time now and using the Saturday post as a 100% beneficiary post that goes to a HIVE charity each week. Know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you (I shared your story with my wife) and though it may be small at first we want to contribute in some way to what you are doing.

You sound like real caring people and there are not many of them around.
We do what we can with what we have and eventually we want enough in the account to take a regular 10% drawdown without depleting the account. But that is still some distance away and know that we sincerely appreciate all of the help that we can get.

Thank you for kind support and blessings to you and your wife.

Hahaha, anybody? There will only be two of us in the boat, so maybe I might make a whale or two jealous as they would also want a boat 🤣!LOLZ

I am giving Lolz like it's Christmas, but maybe I have nothing left 🤣
But at least it is for a good cause 🤣

Well you know that before long the sun will not be strong enough to melt the snow and then it turns into a dream land methinks.

Cheers and thanks.

Haha, two whales in a boat - maybe Hive whales, but they can afford their own yachts, I believe 😂
I am very sure that my !LOLZ are also out of stock 😉

It was sunny today but not very warm - much snow has melted, but for tomorrow they predict more. I think this is going to be a real Winter this year, and in a few months the Winter will make place for the Spring ;)

I don't know such an Indian Spring or whatever the name could be, but of course, sometimes in winter it can be warm enough to go walking in t-shirt. Some girls go skiing in bikini and I don't mind that 😉

Hahaha, your humor bone is working overtime again and no wonder that it get's sleepy every night.
I am sure that you have been in a First aid course and NO!, mouth to mouth resuscitation is not required when her foot is sore after she fell down 🤣🤣🤣 !LOLZ
