[ENG-SPN] Through the plain of La Mancha / Por la manchega llanura

Possibly, Miguel de Cervantes was not aware of it, but when he placed in these sensational settings the origin of the intrepid adventures of the most noble and esoteric of our knights-errant, the peculiar Don Quixote of La Mancha, he became, not only an ambassador, but also, in the best chronicler of a region, of that ancestral and traditional Spain, famous, there is no doubt, as a famous song says, for its bread, its wine and its bacon, essential elements to continue making the path.

Discovering and venturing through those same towns described by Cervantes, with their crumbling castles, their fabulous mills or the charming beauty of their main squares, is to relive, in a certain way, the beauty of places and traditions, where, pushed Perhaps, due to the emotionality of the moment, the famous words of the poet, Don Antonio Machado, are felt in the soul, when he said: through the plain of La Mancha, you can see the figure of Don Quixote passing again...

Posiblemente, Miguel de Cervantes no fuera consciente de ello, pero cuando situó en estos sensacionales escenarios el origen de las intrépidas aventuras del más hidalgo y esotérico de nuestros caballeros andantes, el peculiar Don Quijote de la Mancha, se convirtió, no sólo en embajador, sino también, en el mejor cronista de una región, de esa España ancestral y costumbrista, famosa, qué duda cabe, como dice una famosa canción, por su pan, por su vino y por su tocino, elementos indispensables para continuar haciendo camino.

Descubrir y aventurarse por esos mismos pueblos descritos por Cervantes, con sus castillos venidos a menos, sus fabulosos molinos o la encantadora belleza de sus plazas mayores, es revivir, en cierto modo, la belleza de unos lugares y de unas tradiciones, donde, empujados, quizás, por la emotividad del momento, se sienten en el alma las célebres palabras del poeta, Don Antonio Machado, cuando decía aquello de: por la manchega llanura, se vuelve a ver la figura de Don Quijote pasar…
