Purpose of Travel.

If you wander through the history of the fates of the discoverers then on the one hand, each of them had a specific goal of the journey but the result did not correspond to it.

For example, Columbus dreamed of finding a short way to India, but found the North American continent later the Spaniards and the Portuguese discovered South America and hoped to find silver there but they did not find it, they found rivers jungles, pastures for livestock, but also deposits of precious stones. such as emeralds.

It is strange that Argentina was not renamed say the country where they drink mate tea or the country "calibas" except for South America they are not drunk or used anywhere.

But even today everything happens exactly the same you are looking for one thing but you find something else.

When I find myself in the swampy wastelands that are located on the edge of our city then I do not set myself very ambitious plans, for example I try to photograph pheasants and hazel grouses which appear only when I am not yet ready for photography.

I do not hope to discover a new planet there or an alien civilization everything is much more modest.

You know, there is something special about being alone with nature and you don't know which way to go, where the success of this enterprise will find you just like in ancient times.

You can stand for a long time and think about which direction to choose but there is such a thing as time and not always it is enough for internal fluctuations therefore I choose the path that I have not walked for a long time and am looking for something that can me surprise but as I said I had a specific goal pheasants and hazel grouses.

As you can understand from the last photograph I never found any birds that day and it can be said that there was some reason to call this trip unsuccessful but I found a huge peat tussock that grew like a mushroom under the pressure of gases emanating from the swamp.

It is possible that this swamp hummock has a different nature of occurrence but I think that only marsh gases could swell the soil in such a way and form something like that.

This time a clod of earth overgrown with grass became my silver and this is a good result for a short journey.
