Always a Beautiful Sunday, Sublimely so

So the day goes, my girls and I, sitting in the barely-there morning light, taking in the day, with coffee. The ritual of drinking coffee is such a therapeutic exercise in being there. Does anything else really matter for that moment or three - or can I allow myself to simply enjoy the beverage, the conversation, and the company? I can see the possibilities of my day, steeped in such great company. I lean into the conversation and count my blessings. Always and forever.

Today is a #BeautifulSunday by @Ace108, where we share our day in the most possibly beautiful way that we can. It is always a great day when I can spend it with some or all of the family. Today is a great day for taking a deep breath and enjoying the beauty around me. I am having the best of days, a definite #SublimeSunday in the making, by the Meister of my morning, @c0ff33a. I do love my @c0ff33 and he likes eclectic! A definite match, made in heaven. I want to thank @ace108 and @c0ff33a for hosting these fun challenges! Check them out!

The shade of the bushes, spouting out the end of spring flowers. I am not sure why it is so late, Perhaps it is a late bloomer, the last to show up for the party. Still, I will enjoy them until the day they vanish, swept off into the seasonal demise. We picked a few roses from the garden, the one that is planted in the back year, growing along the iron fence, small pink ones with a powerful scent. They are intoxicating. We kept one out to press into the bible. It was the last bush my mom got me and it has been taking good care of me with fresh roses for my table, all summer long. It adds such a nice touch to it. I get wax paper and put the rose between it, sliding it into the bible, somewhere between Psalms and Proverbs.

It has been a hectic week for all, so we were looking forward to a day of catching up, a little gardening and planting the new plants before they start wilting or worse. The weather has been windy and rainy, but it has made way for a fit of sunshine today. What's up, Mother Nature? You have beocme so inconsistent! Still, there is #alwaysaflower, wherever you are , whatever you are doing. There will always be a flower, to color my world.

Coffee is done, but, the feelings linger. I am not sure how I got so lucky, especially with the kids. You are supposed to love your children, and I do, but, I really like them too. I like spending time with them and teaching them little things that aren't written anywhere, but assumed. The best part is that they still respect my opinion enough to listen and talk about it and everything else. Do they always agree? No, they are human, but, they are respectful in their comeback, as I am to them. There is no competition on who is right or wrong, as there shouldn't be.

The beautiful Viburnum, a graceful addition to the garden. She has a style and grace, a beauty that carries her to the autumn, where the berries she produces over the summer turn a brilliant color. I am going to enjoy her pretty white flowers and not rush the season. I love plants that grow all year, with a few seasonal changes of their own.

We went down to the barn and brushed out the equine gang, then released them into the field. The usually spend the night out in these warmer months, but, it rained late yesterday afternoon, so we gave that a pass. Nobody likes brushing mud out of a coat. Although I have to admit, they don't mind rolling in it and getting a little dirty... some days, even a lot of dirty is fine by them. That is our perception. When a horse sweats, it dries on its skin and the dirt actually relives it and repels flies.

We are back once again, and even though the day isn't filled with things to do, it feels kind of nice to do little and talk a lot. We plant the flowers and I look to see that it is still morning and we have the whole day in front of us, so it sounds like time for a short hike. I like the sounds of that and so does everyone else. Hi-Ho!

I want to thank @ace108 and @c0ff33a for hosting these challenges! I hope everyone is having a #BeautifulSunday, Sublimely so! And just like that, this post is over! Come back tomorrow and we will do it again!

I’ll love you forever and ever. I hope they never forget that - it's not enough to think it, or assume they know. You have to tell the people you love, “I love you." and I am pretty sure there is an unprovoked hug that will come with it. Then do it all over again. And again. And again. I think sometimes we take it for granted that people know this. The world needs a little more love right about now. It is more important than ever to spread some. I love you. I do.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

I see you spent some quality time with the kids at home, which is wonderful. My kids are my best companions whenever I'm at home, and they make every second of being at home so delightful. It's true what you said; we're supposed to love our children, and it's nice to know how much you do.

It is true! I do love being with the kids and they make it so easy! They are interesting and being with them never gets old.

I never fail to tell them just how much I love them.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your words. Have a great day!

What a wonderful weekend it is I read. Spending with love ones, planting flowers… appreciating everything around you. Beautiful photographs.
Yes, coffee… I so love that moment first thing in the morning. It just has to be. It is precious especially shared with others and a good conversation.

The horses, yes they love to roll in the mud sometimes… it’s good for the skin sometimes. But a lot of work to brush out again 😉 as long as they have fun 🤩
Have a wonderful evening dear Denise 💃🏻💃🏻👋🏻

It is good for their skin and keeps the flies off of them. The work is built-in for the clean-up, but, it is all in the fun.

Yes, you are a coffee aficionado! The best cup is the one that is in front of me, however, the first one is always amazing. Thanks so much for stopping by today! It was a busy afternoon into the evening but, of course, I had to check my Hive!

I hope you have a great day tomorrow!

It's nice to be able to listen to each others opinions and views respectfully without bickering and squabbling and such. Makes sharing a cup of coffee with others much more enjoyable for sure.

Ahead! Spending time with your kids is like an investment. It comes with rewards later. Rewards in the form of love, respect and care.

It is always a nice feeling to enjoy some beverages with your loved one along with having some light conversation. The beverage ends but the memories last forever and keep on giving us smiles.

Coffee? That is the beverage of the gods. Ha ha ha ha . I love coffee and value its social importance. It is just the good excuse for conversations with colleagues, friends, and family. At least for me and my girlfriends, it was always an excuse to "waste time" in conversation or catch up on personal matters. I remember when I first got here, I had one of my first culture shocks over coffee. Twice I went out with Americans for coffee, and it was literally that: drinking a cup of coffee. No long conversations or "another coffee, please" ha ha ha. Then I understood that there really wasn't much to talk about, and that for American friends, who always lead a hectic and busy life, that "wasting time" in chats is not profitable. It was a little disappointing, but then I understood and learned. Although I will tell you that I was lucky to find the right people: those who loved coffee and long talks.

I love that you share time with your children and enjoy them. . You seem to be very close to your children and I love that. It is obvious that I am speaking from my Latin-Venezuelan culture, where the attachment between mothers and children is very strong. I don't want to say that here it is not, but it is different. Here I see that my friend asks her daughter for permission to visit her. In Venezuela, that would be odd. My mother would never ask permission to visit me. What's more, my house would be her house anytime she wants to (this would not apply for my mother-in-law's. ha ha. I'm kidding . Anyway , keep that bond with your children . Even when they are grown up, make them see that they are still your babies. Hug them and kiss them a lot, even if they don't want to.
Sometimes i feel you are "my dear diary"...

Your friend asks permission to vidit her daughter?? Seriously? I cannot for the life of me believe that! I actually don't know anyone that has to ask permission to visit! I know some people like a heads up, but, permission? My mother? My mom and dad would come to visit me for a month, two, sometimes three months a time because I don't live near home. When my sister in lay had a death in the family, my brother and her flew to the States (they were working in Panama) I picked them up and gave them my car to drive to her hometown Florida. I took her two little kids and watched them while she laid her dad to reat. That is what family does. My family shows up on my doorstep with no notice and I live 5 hours from the closest one.

My real point is, I am a busy person. It doesn't matter. Family rules. I love them all. All of us would do anything for one another and have been called upon from time to time.

My house is their house. Indeed. We are all close and have been our entire life. I expect us to be that way until we stop breathing. I thought all people were like that, but, they are not. I adore my three children. My son is the oldest and takes great pleasure in doing nice things for his sisters. Always has a soft spot for them.

Coffee is meant to be shared with others and I can honestly say that even as teenagers, we spent hours and hours at cafes, where you were never rushed off and would get another and another and another. The conversation was endless and the laughter was infectious. I can see that some people are wound too tight and need to step back a bit, but, they may very well have been raised that way.

I am sorry that you had that problem. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Have fun, Delight in the company of others. Just hearing you say how awkward the other people were that you met saddens me. It makes them seem hollow inside. Never change! I know I won't I love life, my children, my family! It is the way it should be.

I love being your dairy! Sorry I have not been so great getting back to everyone, it has been busy here, but, not crazy! I don't run around like a chicken with her head cut off, but, only because I like to be chill and not stressed!

Love to you! That is what the world needs! Love, sweet love! Have a great night! ❤️

Kind of. She wants to see her grandchildren and spend more time with them, but she has to wait for her daughter to say when or how. It does not depend on her , but her daughter's. That is what I see like asking for permission. Well, I just feel that it is part of American cultural: being less dependent on others, drawing clear boundaries in relationships with everybody. As simple as that.

My real point is, I am a busy person. It doesn't matter. Family rules. I love them all. All of us would do anything for one another and have been called upon from time to time.

Yes, it is not difficult to believe you are like that. You seem to be very thoughtful!

Thanks!

The older I get I seem to rather talk more and work less. The only problem is I have an ever expanding list of to-do's.

I sure am happy to have a 20 something son that can teach me all the things I missed growing up. That and solving the world's problems is a good way to spend a moment or more.

Truth. We can't lose our twenty-somethings. I wouldn't know how to lace my running shoes without them.

Let me know when they have a reasonable solution to the world problems. Frankly, I am tired of living this way.

The flowers, I mean the photos in the post, pale beside the beauty of your words, @dswigle! Forgive me for using this name of yours so formally but I hope it helps me to draw your attention to the fact that I read it too, albeit so belatedly.

I love it so much when you talk about the joy of coffee taken with your girls! Because I enjoy coffee too, really, only when I drink it with a loved one and we have a nice conversation. Otherwise, when I'm alone and working, I have a sip of coffee automatically, with a pleasure that is not full.

Your relationship with your children is incredible, as is your understanding and tolerance.

I'm one of those people who hardly say "I love you", I always thought others must see that and if they don't, it's their fault. Of course in my youth, this brought me a lot of sadness...
