This is life as it was supposed to be.

Now how would you like to spend a holiday here with that mountain in the back and some wonderful views?

A bonus is that it is between two lovely towns and the sea is also nearby. Although I live in the one town where I run a charity, I have farmers blood in my veins and a dear love of nature. So today I will show you my idea of an ideal life.

Just another short visit to the countryside and fortunately our town is surrounded by areas like this. So one never needs to sit bored at home.
We have such a wide variety of activities and places here that it would be almost impossible to visit all of them and further out towards the city, or inland many other beautiful places await. Then of course there are also the Atlantic and the Indian oceans that meet here.
Life is short and we have to enjoy it.

How cool! Do you have strawberries growing right now? It's just that in Russia strawberries finish bearing fruit in July already, and now it's already snowing in general)

Thank you and yes the strawberries grow now at the beginning of Summer.
We are in South Africa at the southern tip of the African continent.

Being able to lose oneself enjoying farm life is such a wonderful dream. Strawberries look delicious, great views from there with bird life around as well.

Ah, you are so right, as we so miss the farm life that we had for 6 months when we arrived here.
Silence, dark nights with only small lights in the distance, no traffic at night and only frog and owl song.
They are and I now get a smoothie every day with all kinds of berries, no I am joking, with a strawberry and blue berry mix in it. Delicious.

Where rodents are there will be raptors and the ponds are alive.

I was only saying that as I have lived in many places and seen many places across the country. In fact a place that I adore is the Okavango delta in Botswana.
The place where 4 countries meet. Namibia, Zambia. Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Thank you for that Beer. There are many beautiful places. From what I have seen in pictures of the Okavango I think a piece of my heart will stay behind should I ever visit it. However my heart will always take me back to the same place.

My pleasure and once you have actually been there I can guarantee that you will never forget it.
A place where wild troops of elephants roam around you and the wildlife and river are astounding.
Raw nature and the great Victoria waterfall just down the road.
