Road to Hivefest | Time for the countdown...with who?

T minus 17 days before Hivefest arrives again back in Amsterdam organised by @roelandp , bringing more social, more news, and more hype to the project we already believe in so much, otherwise we wouldn't be sticking around that long already right?

I go my ticket, I got my place to stay, and am just praying the trains won't be on strike like today to get there. Now when the date is moving closer, we realize that Hive as a social blockchain is all about the people. So the question starts to rise....who will be there? (Let's start the big name dropping and see who all will be there?)

I have to think back to my first Hivefest in Krakow and think about so many people I saw there in the cold misty streets for the first time ever. The funny thing that I didn't really realize is that no matter where everyone is from over the world, with out Hive interest we have the same kind of hobby or investment. It bonds you in whatever kind of way, and that is a good start even though if you don't know anyone.

When I walked in in Krakow one of the first people I found (see I am always late, and this edition I will also be late as usual which means you come running in while everyone already started to know each other) I saw were fellow Dutchies @r00sj3 and @soyrosa . Now from Rotterdam Roos I know she will be there this year as well, but will Dublin Roos fly in as well? And I am sure @brittandjosie will be walking in stealing the show with a good suit. Will @edje come walking in to get some good music going there? And...will @loonatic share his goods with the world?

In Krakow I had a blast with @blewitt from the US who I know he won't be joining in (the biggest bummer ever!) but he will be joining Splinterfest very soon if I am correct? Will @toocurious join in for a well deserved beer and talk about travel, or will he also be at the Splinterfest in the US? @men0 already stated he won't have the funds to join in from Ecuador and I saw somewhere from @abh12345 also will not be joining in. No chance on the remake of this picture that is!

I saw that @connecteconomy will not make it coming from Eastern Europe, but I did see @alexvan has won a ticket! From the German squad I expect @rivalzzz and @louis88 as the usual suspects and @detlev will even be speaking. Will @twinner head in for a beer? @felixxx said he would be there as well if the covid measures are not too stupid and also because of this I hope that @revisesociology will also be able to reach all the way from Portugal/UK

It would be nice if miss @liliana.duarte and the mister would join in again from Portugal as well as hopefully @grampo from Vancouver to talk about @waivio updates? Is @for91days in town?

I hope @celestal finds a way to make it to Holland and I am wondering if @anomadsoul if joining in or just organising the competitions? @slobberchops said he would be joining, is @bingbabe also tagging along? And @steevc might even be playing some guitar as I hear from the rumours? Will @jux also do something with music or just talk about @risingstar

Will @nathanmars hop over the big ocean again for a breakfast talk about the big ol Hive, and will @acidyo be there to talk about the idea of POSH? And as a frequent poster, I am curious if @taskmaster4450 will be sharing his thoughts on the hive ecosystem.

As you notice there are so many people also not joining in because of reasons X-Y-Z (honestly, if this wasn't so closeby for me it would also have been challenging to join in) but I don't really have a good sight on who is joining in!

So show yourself! Let me know if you are joining in and if we should be a Petanque or Jeu de Boule squad, or if that we are competitors in this one.
