Cover Song for hiveopenmic 130 / Cat Clyde - All the Black

Well I was planning on trying to do a song a week but I guess that failed, we got hit by hurricane Fiona last week then I got busy so life kind of got in the way lol! Anyways for this weeks open mic I decided to do a cover. I came across this song All the Black by Cat Clyde through the YouTube algo one day and it got mega stuck in my had so I had to learn it. I tend to use it as a warmup song because it sounds better sung kind of LOUD so it helps me loosen up I think. It also has a little pinky action on each chord so it put my lazy pinky to work which is something that doesn't happen often enough.

TY Vincent! I have a hard time controlling my face when I play guitar and sing so I go between smiling and pained expressions 😂

We absolutely love it here, so beautiful, the garden did better than we expected except for 1 or 2 things, swam in the ocean a lot 😍

Many times things don't go as planned, but the beauty is in what we achieve when we set out to move forward. I immediately identified with the lazy pinky, I think it happens to most of us performers hahahaha.

Your performance as well as your guitar playing was impeccable, even the song sounds like yours and fits your voice perfectly. You are very talented, it's the first time I've heard you and I loved it. Beautiful

I didn't know the artist, you made me look up her video on Youtube and she looks amazing, before that, I listened to you and felt a lot of airs of Bjork and another singer from a group called Of Monsters And Men, if you haven't heard them, I recommend them, I know you will like them!!!!
