No fishing, I am Covid positive
(Edited)
Shit hits the fan
I have been feeling quite ill for the last few days, and because of a high risk contact I got tested for Covid. And yep, today I got the news, I have contracted the corona virus. Two days of fever, cough, sore throat and sneezing were my part. Luckily the fever is gone now, but the rest of the symptoms are still there. It would not be a good idea to go fishing out in the cold right now.
And I have to stay in quarantine, so officially even fishing is not allowed. But we’ll see about that in a few days, when I feel better.
So, this is only a delay, I really hope to post a picture of a self caught pike in a few days!
Thank God those vaccines really helped us, right? 🤦♂️
Sincerely,

Lol. Better off without the vaccine as I made it through and yet somehow this doesn't make any sense. You get sick and recover so your anti bodies are doing what they are supposed to do and now you have to have a vaccine or two. I have had one so far and not sure whether it is smart or stupid to get the final or how many more there are to come. On the fence big time right now. Go fishing if you feel up to it as you have the papers saying you are vaccinated which shows you what a joke this is. Just get better as the fish can wait.
Yeah, they can shove that booster shot up their arses! I really feel like they have fooled us big time. I can name dozens of people I know that still got sick despite getting double vaccinations… A big load of crap it is!
You bet it is.
@cryptoandcoffee for president!!
I'd be interested to hear what your total recovery time was and if it overall felt just like the flu. I don't know anyone that got Covid that felt as though it was particularly noteworthy, let alone something the entire world should shut down for. Then again, I don't know many people other than my parents and their friends who are over 65.
Well, I am being honest here, it feels like the flu for me. I have had the flu pretty nasty before. And this feels somewhat like that. I am a bit better than the first two days, but still feverish with stuffed airways. I hope things get better day by day now. I will keep you updated.
Get well and take care of you.
