The road ahead

The New Year is finally here! 2023 improved torwards the very end, but it's a year that I definitely won't miss much; if you're wondering why the greyish/misty photo I chose, that's because it was how this last year felt.

It was also the usual weather where I've spent the last days, recharging batteries, and I must say I actually enjoyed exploring nature in this setting - glass half full, always! 😉 And with that in mind... let's make a little recap of the yearly numbers in the blockchain!

I wasn't that active last year as I was in 2022, but hoping some improvements on that part. Still, an increase of 2430 Hive Power and 681 HBD seems pretty good to me! I'm missed my soft goal of 11k HP, but will get it this month for sure.

What now?

I'm starting the year doing something I've been wanting to do for quite some time now: learn a programming language! Will be starting a phyton course, and I'm very curious to see how will I be able to apply this new skill; I do have some ideas on some micro projects Hive/gaming related, and guess I'll find out soon enough how feasible are they.

Gaming on Hive seems to be gaining momentum, with a new promising game @holozing looming on the horizon, and @splinterlands with a ton of new things these last couple months! Since 2018 Splinterlands is a part of my almost daily routine, and do hope this year the joy of playing the game goes back to what it once was; bots and quite a few (bad, in my opinion) decisions are making the experience less and less pleasant, especially for anyone wanting to try the game for the first time.

Overall, the crypto markets seem to be warming up, and with BTC etfs very likely close to being approved, to the halving in Spring, it does feel that we're finally seeing a very positive evolution from last couple of years!

This year I worried a bit too much, and travelled too little. Yes, I was able to visit settings like these...

... but I want more, much more!

Hoping for a year of growth, inside and outside the crypto sphere; full of travels, good moments, and wildlife photos!
