Beer Me

I’ve just recently purchased a GrowlerWorks pressurized keg style growler so I’ve been able to take home beer and make it actually last. I’ve never really been a fan of traditional growlers because once you open them you only have a day to drink them before the beer goes flat. The GrowlerWorks keg uses CO2 cartridges to keep the beer fresh and bubbly for about a month. Beer Me was one of the first beers that I got to bring home in my new growler keg so to say I was excited to try it was an understatement.

Beer Me is a traditional American lager. Think Budweiser or Coors, but with way more flavor. Spira smooth with mild aromas of corn, malt, grain and some light hobby notes.

As with most traditional American loggers beer me pours a golden call her with some foamy white head that’s filled with fine carbonated bubbles. The flavor is clean and crisp and filled with grain and corn notes.

Honestly, you don’t drink this kind of beer for the flavor. You drink it when it’s hot out and you’re looking for something cold and refreshing. This isn’t going to stack up to any IPA or stout, but it sure beats the hell out of all those macro beers.
