He was angry about me leaving a comment under another members post. It's not a big deal. About once a month for the past nearly three years I've seen someone lose it and go on a flagging rampage. This one might be experiencing a medical emergency. It's easy to write them off as trolls but some display signs of mental illness. I looked into his recent history and I believe that's what's happening. Don't take the downvotes personally. His anti-social behavior will most likely escalate on its own over the next few days, then slowly subside. They're not the easiest to speak to when they're having an episode so much like when we see them on the streets, it's best to keep walking, carry on, business as usual.
And there it's left, documented for everyone to see on the blockchain.
