Where there is Krakonošovo / Tam kde je Krakonošovo

Don't be fooled by the title of the post. It is not a post on the topic "Get to know the city" and I will not write here about the mountains and hills, where certainly Krakonoš, this righteous defender of the poor in the fight against the greedy and greedy kindly rules.

Imagine that after a long time I managed to travel outside my native land. And from the first photo you can guess what city my family and I visited.
So what is the title of this post?

For the journey from Bohumín to Prague, it is probably better for smaller children to choose train transport. We didn't want to drive in the heat and think where to park in Prague or outside Prague - we didn't want to do that.
The train journey has its positives and negatives. My wife was quite sick on the way to Prague, maybe because of the air conditioning. And for once the journey was a rather negative experience, at least as far as my wife was concerned.

Even in Prague they have sewerage. And even here you can find some interesting manhole covers. Although for the people of Prague this piece will probably be nothing special. The problem with photographing such manhole covers. This one was not far from the astronomical clock on Old Town Square.

And what about Prague? On the recommendation of our guide, we visited Sacré Coeur Park on the day of our arrival. In the park there is, among other things, this special slide.

The park was close to our temporary accommodation in Prague and we could have had some views of Prague. The park was the only interesting place we visited on the first day. Then it was just some shopping and off to our room. Prague is alive and well in the evening, but probably not for kids.

The next morning we visited the Kingdom of Railways. Apart from the extensive model track, there were also various simulators to see and try out. For example, a subway, train or tram simulator. The kids spent the whole morning there and still couldn't get enough.

After lunch in OC Nový Smíchov we went to another attraction for children. This attraction was the Museum of Legos. It was incredible to see what you can build with Lego. I was personally interested in the Star Wars section. After the tour, my younger son docked at the working model train.

What next in Prague? There is a plethora of things. So that day we walked through the classic sights like Charles Bridge, Powder Tower or the already mentioned Old Town Square.

I got a little lost in the schedule. Anyway, we met with @krakonos and visited the Zizkov Memorial, the Military Museum and the surrounding area. Only especially the Military Museum needs more time. Or, better still, spread your visit over several stages.

Three days in Prague. A lot can be done in that time, but there is still a lot missing. Besides Prague Castle, we also visited the Czech Television. And @bucipuci was also present, albeit only in a proxy capacity.
