What a delight to find myself here in the community
I was reading through fellow Hivians' posts when I stumbled on this one
I wouldn't say I've known about it for a while cause that would be a lie, I just found out and I couldn't hide the excitement when I found out what the community is made of.
I mean a place to share our collectibles? Very interesting.
I came across different entries for different collections of things and one of of which I would love to be a part of is the Tote Bag collection.
I guess this happened to be last month's entry word seeing that the month of December is for Scarves, Bandanas and shawls
Well, I would still love to share a few of those too but at the moment I couldn't help but share my very limited collection of Tote bags

As a student, tote bag really come in handy.
It helps with proper packaging of school materials and personal belongings.
Initially when students started making and using tote bags, a lot of those bags came without a zipper.
I am one person that loves safeguarding and keeping my stuff because I wouldn't want to misplace or lose them, so a zipper is always a must and very necessary for me when it comes to my bags.
I was always used to my backpack, it was actually more comfy for me compared to any other type of bag.
So with the innovation of Totebag, I was skeptical at first especially seeing that most came withing a zipper.

So before I even made up my mind to make one, I specifically asked my vendor if it is possible to have a zipper in my Totebag, she said it was very possible but that it was just gonna cost me extra pennies which ofcourse I didn't mind provided she did what I wanted and I was sure of my things not getting lost because I didn't have a zipper on my bag.
I went ahead to get a zipper on my first Totebag, and with that I started seeing more Totebag designs that came with a zipper or rope.
Before I knew it, it became a norm, that I hardly saw any Totebag without one anymore and almost all the students on campus used a Totebag.

My first Totebag was a customized one that came with my nickname.
My second Totebag with my nickname as well but this one was gifted by a friend. Still, I requested a zipper on that too, good thing she told me about the gift and not make it a surprise. But unfortunately for us, her Totebag vendor forgot the zipper even after I requested for it, so to avoid stressing my friend, I told her I was gonna get the zipper on myself with another person when the bag gets to me and that's exactly what happened.
I later took the bag to a known tailor and asked for a zipper to be inserted in the bag.

It's almost like I got used to and more comfortable with using a Totebag to school that I soon neglected my backpack and even handbags, I wasn't even a fan of using handbags to school so I just stick to Totebag and sometimes backpack.
For every Totebag in this photo is a story behind it that I might not really share cause this shouldn't be a very long read, I wanted to keep it very brief as my first time here in this community.

As much as I would have loved to share the stories behind every piece of my collection, I will also reluctantly let it slide this time.
And like I said on my status, it seems I'm ending with a Totebag lol.
So you could say, I started school with a Totebag, and I am ending with a totebag lol and that's consistency for me 😁
It's not intentional, I just feel comfortable carrying a Totebag to school.
It mostly contains everything I want to carry to school so I don't need extra bags with me.
