A Successful Funeral Service
Phewwww!
What a day it has been, so much to share and so much to say, but where do I even start from? Coupled with the end product; tirednessš¤¦āāļø
I am so exhausted as I pen this and at the same time drained and blank. Yes, my mind literally went blank the whole day, completely shut out.
I tried everything within my human power and strength to pen down an article but all effort was rendered useless.
The burial service was a huge success though and everything went on well.
And speaking of the burial service, it kicked started about 11 AM, and before then, everything was ready and set for the big event. Surprisingly even the caterers were done with food and all set on time. Unlike other occasions and events, I've witnessed before. Food used to seem like a really big issue and some don't usually finish on time, as much while the event is going on, a few persons will still be in the kitchen preparing and arranging food for the guests. So this was really a nice thing to behold.
Though I might be back with highlights from the remains of the service and the experiences I had so far, but for now, this baby girl is extremely tired and needs to rest her body to help it still function well later. We thank God for a successful funeral service of GrandPa, indeed we celebrated a life that lived hundred and one (101) years with great achievements.
We also thank He that sustained his life for such a number of years.
Today we bid him Farewell as he journey into a different space.
Still your baby girl ;)
To my faithful readers and wonderful sponsors, my heart goes out to you guys. Thank you for making my journey here a fun-filled and exciting one. Thanks for trusting and supporting my work too. I pray that God bless you all real good :)

I love those your dimples.
Oh! Thank you!
It good thing you took a proper rest after the so much stress.
Trust you are doing great?
I am getting better dear. Thank you so much for your concern.
Funerals are very different here.
I was so confused seeing your smiling faces. But yeah, we all have differences in culture.
Lol, I understand.
Why you saw that smiling faces is because it was actually a celebration of life.
To us here, if one lives for a very long time then it's a celebration and not mourning and the man lived for 101 years.
Though he is greatly missed but we can't mourn him for a long time, compared to if a younger person passed away.
I googled about the funeral culture over there after reading your post. I understand the reasoning. But as I said it's so very different from usual that's why surprised me.
No worries. Take care āļøšø
Lol. It's okay and I understand.
Cultures differ!
