Zeke Thoughts: Fault, Darwin and Letting People Find Their Own Inspiration
Only a couple weeks since I last got preachy and musicy so let's do this!
Positivity is best when shared and reflecting upon impactful statements helps us deliberate how we can learn from them. #thoughtfuldailypost is the tag we like to use and @thoughtfulposts is the curation account to whom we have delegated to boost its power to reward thoughtful posts.
I invite you to share in my musings and the loosely-related music I would pair with each.
It Might be You!
Jordan B Peterson is a fellow Canadian, professor of psychology, author and adventurer of some renown. I am just discovering him now but love the fact he built a Native American Long-House on the upper floor of his Toronto home. Legit!
This is probably a bitter pill to swallow for those who are singularly searching for someone else to blame for their situation. Chances are, if you are surrounded by assholes, you are most likely the asshole! I am not much for assigning blame as much as I am choosing to react to constructively to the issue or situation. Sure I reflect on the lessons presented by a difficult situation but I would rather concern myself with righting it then reflecting.
Still, it is worth it to check yourself no matter how high and mighty and preachy you my be, to see whether your are in fact the antagoist.
This is an epic performance from over 30 years ago with an equally epic Man In the Mirror which I think fits the quote.
Darwin Awards
Someecards.com is a giant collection of memes I have never had any use for. You can conclusion shop your perfect image and use it to legitimize your point, no matter what it is. Still, they have some funny.
Half of me feels that there are too many people on this planet, and enjoys watching the stupider/unluckier half exterminate itself. The other half likes to protect the weak, believe in the underdog and preserve all life.
Still, the training wheels society needs applied by the governmental powers that be seem to be a little much. I am not entirely sure removing the warning labels would do much as I am sure many stupid people even read the warning labels.
Yah that seems fair!
Individual Empowerment
Brooke Hampton https://us.vibram.com/brooke_hampton.htmlis apparently, " a dirt worshiping, sun-gazing, barefoot walking, chocolate eating, book lovin' kitchen witch."
I never really considered empowerment to be an individual thing but I suppose it could be. I love to search for the simple universal truths that would benefit any soul but this makes me question that a little.
'You do you' seems to be such a liberating sentiment and thinking about how others are empowered and fulfilled by vastly different roles makes sense. I pride myself on being someone that lets people be themselves, but thought that was more of a nice thing to do rather than dictating how someone should be empowered. Passive is not my thing but I am learning.
Absolutely no correlation between this song and the subject matter but the world needs a little more Meatloaf who is one of a kind, and has found and shared his inspiration.
This movement continues to gain momentum and now as it is being curated by @thoughtfulposts to whom I have delegated some #hive https://hive.blog/introduceyourself/@thoughtfulposts/thoughtfulposts-introduction-or-a-thoughtfuldailypost is where you can get the details and please consider delegating to help make positivity extra rewarding.
I invite you to pen your own #thoughtfuldailypost any day of the week and spill your wisdom on the world via the blockchain.

Right on man and keep holding your head up and finding inspiration for yourself and you can find out that you have enough inspiration for others...
@zekepickleman
Hello again, preacher man!! The title of the post, says it all really. Blame is sometimes easier to give, than receive... right?
"All... is a work in progress." Just like our dear late Neil Peart said... But then again, he said a lot of cool stuff... miss him.
Sometimes, we really are tricked by circumstances... let the boy's explain:
Thanks as always, for being preachy!

I usually get furious when I hurt my toe or my head on some piece of furniture. I usually want to smash that open window, or cupboard, or door (handle) to bits. I just can't tolerate those immobile objects' aggression. Why do they ever exist?
That's the way we sometimes think, when in pain, when in shock.
Ridiculous, indeed ;)
Oh my, now that just filled my tank with things I haven’t seen or heard for years.
MJ was a genius. Musically changing the world. Yet a tortured soul. Stupid?
I think not, twisted, probably.
But what is it all about? Making judgments or acceptance? I believe even the dull and ignorant have their story.
I don’t judge, I look for the best in all, and pray for lost souls .
Thanks my friend , you sure got me thinking 🤔
Great post.
