Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - The Great Unit Review Wheel! post!

Now known as the Unit Review Library!

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
421 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #111, I am 310 reviews behind!

Not picking randomly at the moment, need to finish Imperial Agents and Deathwatch before they change as explained Here

Imperial Agents, Exaction Squad

10th Edition Index

Exaction Squads are a kind of Adeptus Arbites unit. Arbites are the police of Warhammer 40k... very Judge Dredd to be honest!

This cost is 10 models and can include a Cyber-Mastiff. They cost 110pts to field and the unit can also be fielded as a Killteam! The unit costs $62.50 to buy.

Get ready for a whole boat-load of weapons profiles!

Abilities

Imperial Law

At the start of the game pick a unit to be this unit's target. For the rest of the game, this unit get +1 to Hit that target unit.

Wargear Abilities

The Squad leader, the Proctor-Exactant can have a Nuncio Aquila (Aura).

Nuncio Aquila (Aura)

If an enemy unit must take a Battle-shock test within 3" of this model, it will be at -1 to the result.

One Arbite can have a Soulguilt Scanner and the other an Arbites Medikit. If they do, they may not exchange their shotguns for other guns.

Soulguilt Scanner

Ranged attacks in this unit have the Ignores Cover ability.

Arbites Medi-kit

Model's in the Bearer's unit has the 5+ Feel No Pain rule. (Upon taking an unsaved Wound, roll a dice, on a 5+ you ignore the damage.)

Thoughts

I don't think this unit is something that I would make space for in any of my current armies for 110pts. I think its great that the kit can be used for Kill Team as well as 40k and I would use them in my large battles, why not? But in Competative 2000pts games? Pass...

That makes 5 Imperial Agents Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 29.4% Completed! The total Completed is 11.43% Complete! Can I review them all?!

Thank you for reading!

I really do love sets that can be used for Kill Team and 40K.

💪💪💪 I might not want them for my tournament army... but I DO want them, really cool looking models!

If I am not mistaken, GW used to make official Judge Dredd minis. I think that's why their Arbitea look so familiar. Weird how fast-and-loose they are with referencing other IPs but litigious against any perceived outsider infringements themselves.

A shotgun with slugs and a red dot optic or open rifle sights can be extremely accurate at 100+ yards. "sniper shotgun" isn't so silly when specialty ammo is taken into consideration.

Indeed! They are famous for it!

Indeed? That is something I did not know.

Yup. Most slugs are cast with rifling on the projectile so they are spin-stabilized in a smooth barrel. Some shotguns are made with rifled barrels, and some slugs are encased in a sabot. Shotguns are quite versatile.
