Introduction
Welcome back to Maledicturs Terra. This is a Chain Story between myself and @lex-zaiya, meaning that we each write the parts alternatively.

Part 66
Magna shook her head. "I was hoping that you would give me some information and not about my mother as a child." She shrugged. "I suppose people grow up. Maybe I will too one day."
"I hope I never do!" Letulah snorted.
Magna did not answer right away and looked into the woman's eyes. It was all a bluff, a façade that she used to hide behind. It lasted only a few seconds but Letty quickly looked away. Clearly, there was pain.
"We are about to head off into unknown territory." Magna said softly. "Can you tell me a bit about the location and the whereabouts of this Cult. There really isn't much to go by."
Letulah took the opportunity to focus on something else. "Right! Well... I had been shadowing one of their agents. There seems to be a few of them that are senior to the rest. Their actions and their affect of the surrounding country seemed to be random and oddly beneficial."
"What do you mean?" Magna asked. She began walking, Letty followed her. Magna did not really want to stay in one place since people had a tendency to find her and interrupt her conversations. This was something she was used to avoiding when she and Derric walked around the castle during the day.
"Well, there was a number of disappearances. People would go missing and it would generally be the kind of people that nobody would miss or be to sore about losing. Troublemakers, drunkards, wife-beaters - that sort of thing. So the effect was that people were generally fairly happy and there was no questions asked."
"Right. So like an invisible police or a vigilante?"
"Right! Bu spread across the rural villages and small towns of two Kingdoms. Eventually, we... I heard about more people going missing and when you follow that lead, you might find villages where more are missing than their want-nots. I had even found a village that was completely empty. It made no sense. Nothing was stolen. The people had not been murdered there or made into some sort of evil offering shrine. They were just gone."
"It's the bodies they wanted." Magna said softly.
"You came up with that conclusion rather quickly."
Magna shrugged. "I have also battled against hordes of the undead and even visited the Land of the Dead to find and rescue my brother."
"An interesting life." Letty remarked.
"I wish it were boring and that was just the tip of the story. There is so much more that has happened." Magna waved her hand, forestalling another question from Letulah. "So if we find places with lower populations and missing populations, then we might start getting some answers?"
Letty nodded. "And you will likely run into trouble."
"Seems likely and part of the job."
