The Busy Bees

Good day everyone! I am back at work and more or less completely healthy! Now the only struggle is that we do not have a good power supply in South Africa.

For years Eskom has been struggling to supply. Sometimes it goes away for a month or two, sometimes it comes back at a Stage 2. Ours was coasting between Nothing and Stage 2 but in the last week its ramped up to Stage 4 or Stage 6.

So it is difficult to blog when I want to because there might not be power and/or internet at certain times. When we are at Stage 6, then I need to prioritize cooking and laundry over blogging. Which means that I do blog from my phone more and that does make things awkward.

All of us South Africans sit with this problem, and all of us will have to find ways to mitigate the problems that this causes.

The Basic Rules of Activity

• Posting weekly is recommended.

• Supporting one another with votes and engagement is encouraged. There is zero enforcement, we just recommend it. If you want people on Hive who will speak and interact with you - just look at the people in this list!

There are a few accounts (like the top Minnows) that have gone inactive that I do NOT take down due to inactivity. This is mainly to give the active Minnows and Redfish something to aim at. It would also be really cool to see you guys catch up to these larger accounts due to your activity vs the inactivity of these accounts.

I shall try to do some post highlights, and I do this in reverse order of HP so we can incubate our new(and often young) users on Hive.

Group stats

The 53 members together were 70.47% of a whale last week, and now we are equal to 70.61% of a whale!

The 2 Orca Accounts were equal to 30.46% of a Whale last week and are now equal to 30.59% of a Whale Account!

The 15 Dolphin Accounts were equal to 2.71 Orca Accounts, now they count as 2.70 Orcas!

The 26 Minnow Accounts last week were equal to 12.52 Dolphin Accounts and now we are equalling 12.62 Dolphin Accounts!

The 10 Redfish were equal to 3.58 Minnows, they are now 11 and equal to 3.55 Minnow Accounts!
