Stars - I always wonder what you are?

I wonder what happens after we die.
Will your soul just vanish once you're gone?
Do you think it wanders around?
To see who weeps and care, now that you're all done.
Or will it reincarnate and live another life?

For sure, nobody knows the answer but
I'd like to think that the souls of those who left turns into stars.

All millions of them, shining like diamonds up in the night sky.
Along with the Kings and Queens that went before them.
A reminder of even though they are no longer here, that they never really disappear.
All this time, they have just been looking down on all of us.
Giving us something to look up to, especially when times are tough.

I wonder.
