Elderly advice

Growing up, there are many advice given to me by by parents that I disregarded but right now I know that they have lots of worth and shouldn't be neglected,

It is true that the world is constantly evolving but then these words given given to us by our parents and elderly one still stands, I guess they are the basic rules of life.

One of the advice given to me by my mom while growing up is

"Dear do not be picky when it comes to choosing a future husband, there is a time in a woman's life when suitors come from every corner , both rich and poor ,tall and handsome, they all comes at once, during that period don't be picky , just follow your heart and most especially Don't Tell yourself that there is still time and more men are coming because after that particular season, you might not be opportune to see the type you pray for"

These advice came to me when I was still very little and not thinking about marriage but these advice grow with me and I made good use of it,

One of the things that it prompt me to do was to write out the type of husband I wanted to avoid being confused when the right one comes,

Am someone who don't like fame but I wish to be comfortably rich and that's my number one point,
A man who isn't famous but comfortable and can provide my daily needs and from there we can grow together.

The advice strengthened my part and thankfully today, I found the exact type of person I wanted, I wasn't picky neither was I looking for a high profile personal but a good person from a good family,
A family that would accept me and not criticize me.

I do see some people who have these catalog of husband to be seeking for a permission but all they get is "no, I haven't found the right person".
Well is good to wait but then what if you can build the right person in that suitors, most of those people who are picky and greedy end up searching for husbands at the wrong time but keep finding the wrong people.

Am truly grateful to that advice that today I found the right person.

Note: what works for me might not work for another person, it is good if everyone set their own principle and follow it then maybe it will work just as you've planned it.
