Hola Hola!! apasionados del cine, yo soy yugo y esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y para empezar les traigo un clásico a finales de los 90, una película con buen presupuesto para su año de salida pero que fue un fracaso en taquilla y que en la ironía de los fracasos con el tiempo se convirtió en una película de culto; les hablo de Mystery Men, una película de Acción y comedia.

Mystery Men es una película que fue dirigida por Kinka Usher basándose en alguno de los personajes del comic de Flaming Carrot Comics creado por Bob Burden dandonos como resultado una película de 120 minutos, algo bastante largo para su época aunque claro ya existía Ben-Hur de 1959 con 3 horas y media - esa si que era larga.

La película nos sitúa en la ciudad de Champion City hogar de nuestros super protagonistas que de super no tienen nada y es que esa es la gracia de esta película, son solo ciudadanos con disfraces creyendo ser super héroes que patrullan la cuidad noche tras noche combatiendo el crimen.

Mystery Men is a movie that was directed by Kinka Usher based on some of the characters from the Flaming Carrot Comics comic created by Bob Burden resulting in a movie Of 120 minutes, something quite long for its time although of course there was already Ben-Hur from 1959 with 3 and a half hours - that was long.

Habiendo conocido ya a nuestro trio de super héroes continuemos con la historia, luego de la hazaña de nuestro Capitán Asombroso que parece mas bien un auto de Formula uno, solo mírenlo bien, tiene marcas de empresas pegadas a su traje, bueno como decimos por oca por la plata baila el mono ...

Como todo super héroe que es ya acabado con al mayoría del crimen y por ende no hay quien le de rivalidad y a cusa de eso comienza a perder patrocinio de empresas lo que lo termina por enfurecer , así que pone en marcha su plan de liberar a un villano que le haya dado problemas para volverlo a meter a la cárcel y así llamar la atención de mas empresas y seguir forrándose el cuerpo de estampillas xD.

Adelantándonos un poco, Capitán asombroso usa su poder de abogado donde usando lentes nadie sabe que es capitán asombroso igual que Superman, entonces este sale del manicomio y lo primero que hace al ser libera do es explotar el manicomio, claro que si, no sin antes presentarnos a Tony y sus paso de baile disco.

El trio maravilla después de cenar como todas las noches se despiden y El Señor Furioso decide ir a la casa de Casanova Frankenstein para vigilar un poco y se encuentra con que Capitán Asombroso esta visitando al recién liberado villano, al cual el pensaba tomar preso para hacer otra hazaña y ganarse una calcomanía mas para su traje de super héroe.


Recuerdan que les dije que podía ser asombroso pero también tonto? bueno es aquí donde demuestra que no tiene mucho de ser asombroso y es atrapado con un gas de cloroformo.

Así que ahora hacen una fiesta para traer a mas súper héroes y ver a quien pueden agregar a su grupo resultando en una gran pero gran fiesta de cosplay básicamente, cada supuesto poder era mas absurdo que el otro pero, tenemos cameo del comediante Dane Jeffrey Cook , tuve que corroborar eso porque yo creí que era en realidad el vocalista de Limp Bizkit.

Fuera de eso al final de todo ese desastre de héroes absurdos encontramos a nuestra siguiente integrante, Lanzadora una chica que como dice su nombre, lanza en este caso una bola de boliche con el cráneo de su padre dentro, la bola esta poseída por su padre, hasta aquí todo indica que si hay algunos pocos que si tienen algo de mmm diferente en lo que tener poder se refiere.

Ah!! se me había olvidado mencionar que ya se había unido otro integrante que, su poder es arrojar pedos/ flatulencias / gases se llama Billy.

Debo agregar que esta película esta llena de malos chistes o mejor dicho chistes de la época , así que si no la has visto puede que no te hagan gracia.

Así que decide entrenarlos, a explotar sus habilidades y a enseñarles a hacer trajes de cosplay, porque no eres un super héroe si no tienes un traje verdad?.

En fin Roy el Señor Furioso se enoja (como en toda la película) y prefiere retirarse en vez de estar tejiendo y escuchando frases de La Esfinge. A continuación y en resumen nuestros héroes salen a enfrentar a Casanova Frankenstein en su mansión y este mismo había reunido a otras mafias así que se acerca la mejor parte de la película, donde deben salvar la ciudad de ser destruida por una maquina malvada echa por Casanova Frankenstein.

Ya se acerca la gran batalla donde nuestros héroes van a demostrara de que están hechos, pero esa parte de la película me la voy a ahorrar, si quieres saber como termina la película te invito a verla, me salte varias partes de la película para que, si deciden verla los tome por sorpresa y puedan disfrutarla mejor.

No tenia pensado narrar parte de la película, solo quería explorar un poco sobre los personajes y la película en general pero cuando alcance a darme cuenta, ya había hablado sobre ella así que decidí dejarlo hasta acá para dejarles con al intriga y la curiosidad, RECOMIENDO VER ESTE CLASICO

En conclusión; Mystery Men es una película que si bien no fue taquillera en su momento, sumo una grata y graciosa película que se quedo en el recuerdo unos cuantos, tiene una trama sencilla pero divertida y como había mencionado antes con muchos pero muchos chistes de su época.. una comedia absurda que de seguro te hará reír o por lo menos decir WTF.
