Vegan Hallacas Option 2 (Soy)

Cut the capers and add them to the pot, cook for 15 minutes before adding the next ingredient.
Apart, put a pot of water to cook, when the water boils turn off the heat and add the soybeans, wait 3 minutes for the soybeans to hydrate, then strain the water.
Chop the onion, chives, sweet chili peppers, paprika and crush the garlic, fry in the flavored oil and add oregano and marinade the powder to taste.
Add the vinegar, soy and vegetable sauce to the pot and cook for 20 minutes and the filling is ready.
For the dough, blend the onion, garlic, coriander and paprika with the water, pour into a bowl, add the flour and salt to taste, knead and add the flavored oil and knead again until the dough is yellow and manageable.

Fold the leaves vertically and horizontally to form the Hallaca, tie with the thread.
In a large pot of boiling water, cook the Hallacas for 30 minutes.
Resultado / Result
I hope you liked this other vegan Hallaca option, the good thing about using dehydrated soy as an ingredient is that it resembles ground meat so even people who are not used to vegan food will not notice any change in the taste of the Hallaca, since it is the other ingredients that give it its aromas and taste.
Saludos
