Beautiful cakes! I got my Winder Repaired Today

Is your yarn stash neat to look at? How do you make the stay neat?

Two years ago, I bought teh cheapest yarn winder in an online store. When it came, I was astonished by its size but I was happy about it because it still can be used and is a great help to me.
A few months ago, while winding my yard, it suddenly broke and no matter how much I twist the lever, teh top won't turn. I asked my husband to repair it but it was beyond our capacity.

I got busy in life and I forgot about it. When I saw it last day, I immediately prepared to bring it to work and asked Sir Thommy to repair it. With his tinkering ability, he repaired it successfully and I was like a kid whose toy had been repaired and I was so happy.

At noon, I started playing

I started with this bag closer thread; it's mad of cotton and is good enough to crochet. I got this for free from the feed mill plant, goo thing I saw them about to throw this away and asked for it.

the original coming of thsi thread is 1 ply only but it was too thin to work with so I decided to make it into two ply which is better now.

Look how neat and satisfying is the yarn arrangement.

Teh finished product. Now it' s easier to crochet using enter pull.

Polyester 6ply

I had been attempting to make a lot of things with this pretty yarn but I kept on frogging them. I was thinking to make something beautiful like a dress for my mom or a shawl perhaps but I am still looking for an easy pattern that would do good on a 3mm crohoet hook and this 6ply polyester yarn. You have any idea? I'd be willing for your suggestions.

What made this yarn very pretty is that it starts on a blue color, followed by yellow and blue, then yellow, yellow and orange, orange, red and orange, then finally, red.

By the way, I go this yarn for free too! I became friends with a fellow crocheter that lives in Cagayan de Oro and one day she told me to meet up with her along the highway because she will give me her scrap yarns. There were a lot of yarn that I received and I was very happy.

Now that the yarn winder had been repaired I can stash my yarn neatly on a plastic bag and on my office drawer.

That will be all for now, thank you so much for being her with me and for the support. Keep safe and stay happy
