Some wonderful experiences and wonderful memories of the trip to Gangotri Dham, one of the world famous temples🥰🥰🕉️🕉️
Hello friends, hope that all of you are healthy and well and are living a happy and peaceful life.
Friends, as I had told in my previous post that our 5 day tour is going to be very good and very pleasant. In the last post, we went to Harsil Valley where we saw the beautiful hills and the beautiful villages settled there and seeing the beauty there, the mind was very happy.
So today we have left for Gangotri Dham, which was about 30 kilometers away from Harsil Valley. We got up early in the morning and left from Harshal Valley and while enjoying the way, we went towards Gangotri Dham. So let me tell you today about Gangotri Dham.
Friends, Gangotri Dham is located in the Uttarkashi district of the Uttarakhand state of India and it is one of the major pilgrimage sites of Hinduism, which is very famous. Gomukh is 19 kilometers away from Gangotri, which is the inner corner of the Gangotri glacier and the Ganges river is also believed to originate from here. If we talk about this place, then according to the ancient legend of this place, the Ganges river is considered to be the holiest river among all the rivers, Ganga or Gangotri descended from heaven to earth, according to the ancient legend, when Lord Shiva released this powerful river from his hair, then the actual origin of the river is Gangotri glacier Gomukh.
History of Gangotri Dham।।
On the basis of mythological religion, this temple was built in the 18th century near this sacred rock and it is believed that Goddess Bhagirathi touched the earth at this place and it is also said that the Pandavas also came to this place and performed a great Dev Yagya ritual to seek peace for their family members who were killed in the Mahabharata war and since then this place is considered to be very sacred. Mahadevi is worshipped in Gangotri Dham and she is known as the Mahadevi who removes all the sins from the birth of life till death.
Gangotri Dham: This Dham is the highest temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The holy river Ganga originates from Gangotri Kaleshwar and becomes Bhagirathi. Further, it joins Alaknanda at Devprayag and takes the form of Ganga. This beautiful temple with a 20 feet high structure is made of white granite, which looks very beautiful and gives a lot of happiness to the mind on seeing it.

Friends this was about the information about that place which I read through books and Google and I told the same here. So now as we move towards our journey, I will tell you how this journey of ours will be good for us and I will tell you how we completed this journey. I will tell about my entire journey here and will tell you about each and every pal.
Friends, this snow was collected earlier by the people there but it had been frozen there for a long time due to which the snow was being removed by the people there with great hard work. You can see in the photo how the people there are clearing the way keeping in mind the safety of the devotees and travelers coming there.
Friends, actually there is a lot of snow here, you can also see how the people there have removed the snow and collected it from the road and how a path has been made for all the travelers to have the darshan of the Lord. All these facilities have been provided by the people there for the travelers and devotees coming there. The big piles of snow tell you how much snow falls here and for how long it would have remained fallen here. When we reached there, snow was not visible anywhere, but the old snow which had fallen on the roads was removed from the road by the people there and it was kept on the side.
Friends, I hope you liked this post and you should also take out some time and come here and take the beautiful video and blessings of God to provide happiness and peace. Thank you.
