If there is something for which I have felt passion, it is art. Since I was a child I have always felt great enthusiasm and commitment to music. That passion has been the fuel that has helped me achieve great things, giving me satisfaction and purpose. One goes through a stage of discovery and self-discovery of their talents, and abilities. Finding something you're passionate about is a process, and there are a few factors that fuel those interests. The first thing is to make what makes you happy, there it is. There will always be people you admire and they will be a powerful motivation to achieve your goals. One must invest time in what one likes and be disciplined. In this process, one finds people with the same interests and passions, and there a strong connection of friendship and companionship is created. Art has different artistic expressions, personally, I feel a predilection for performing arts, visual arts, such as photography, and literary arts such as poetry and science fiction.

Si hay algo por lo cual he sentido pasión es el arte. Desde niño siempre he sentido gran entusiasmo y compromiso por la música. Esa pasión ha sido el combustible que me ha ayudado a lograr grandes cosas, y me ha generado satisfacción y propósito. Uno pasa por una etapa de descubrimiento y autodescubrimiento de sus talentos, habilidades. Encontrar algo que te apasione es un proceso y hay algunos factores que alimentan esos intereses. Lo primero, es hacer que lo que te hace feliz, ahí es. Siempre habrá personas a las que admires y ellos serán una poderosa motivación para lograr tus metas. Uno debe invertir tiempo en lo que le gusta y ser disciplinado. En ese proceso uno encuentra personas con los mismos intereses y pasiones, y allí se crea una fuerte conexión de amistad y compañerismo. El arte tiene diferentes expresiones artísticas, personalmente siento predilección por las artes escénicas, visuales, como por ejemplo la fotografía, y literarias como la poesía y la ciencia ficción.

Once again I find myself participating in the Hive Open Mic in week 163 with the theme "Passion for Art" chosen by our community's friend and recent featured artist: @albertocoachbl. Today, I share with you my trumpet interpretation of «Until I Found You», a pop ballad composed by Stephen Sánchez and Emily Mahin Beihold. I love the R&B style of this song, as it has a similar style to the songs that Elvis Presley sang. It is in a key of B flat major, and something that caught my attention is that it is in a time signature of 6/8. The song talks about passion, hope, love and resilience. I came across this song while watching a movie, and as soon as I identified the title, I decided to look for it. Georgia is the composer's real-life girlfriend, so it's a pretty intimate and personal track about love and overcoming, the darkness when you're in tough times.

Una vez más me encuentro participando en el Hive Open Mic en la semana 163 con el tema "Pasión por el Arte" elegido por el amigo y artista destacado reciente de nuestra comunidad: @albertocoachbl. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Until I Found You», una balada pop compuesta por Stephen Sánchez y Emily Mahin Beihold. Me encanta el estilo R&B de esta canción, ya que tiene un estilo semejante a las canciones que cantaba Elvis Presley. Se encuentra en una tonalidad de B bemol mayor, y algo que me llamó la atención es que se encuentra con un compás de 6/8. La canción habla de pasión, esperanza, amor y resiliencia. Llegue a esta canción mientras veía una película, y apenas identifique el título, me propuse a buscarla. Georgia es la novia en la vida real del compositor, así que es un tema bastante íntimo y personal sobre el amor y el vencer, la oscuridad cuando se está en momentos difíciles.
