Creating the iDoodle account

I seem to spend too much time thinking and not enough time doing.

The problem with thinking too much is that, by the time I am done thinking, I've thought myself out of doing anything.

I decided that, if I am to move forward, I need to act.

So, today I acted by creating a new account called @idoodle . This is intended to be a group account to develop an idea called "The Infinite Doodle."

I developed the idea for an infinite doodle back in the early days of the internet. The doodle is simply a collection of interconnected images. The images will be connected by a binary tree and exist on a three dimensional grid.

I started the infinite doodle before the creation of the NFT. The program could exist as an NFT.

Huh, it looks like the initial artwork for this design was in 1999. Yeah, I think I am suffering from a near terminal case of procrastination.

Actually, I had the thing going but could not find any local interest in developing group art projects.

I am developing a web site for the project. But before I get too involved in the programming, I thought I should solicit some user input.

For example, I would love to get some input on the best place to house the NFTs for the doodles.

I admit, my inclination is to create an NFT collection for the doodles. An NFT collection needs to be married to a Hive-Engine coin. Creating an isolated NFT collection would require creating my own coin and tribe.

I don't want to do that.

It would be better to build the collection on an existing tribe.

PalNet is a wonderful tribe. The PalNet site has implented the NFT code

Of course, the project might do well on #creativecoin or Neoxian.City.

I cannot answer such questins on my own.

I don't think the project would fit well on LeoFinance, StemGeeks or HiveMe.me. The project simply is not the right subject matter.

I could be wrong.

I am often wrong.

I keep putting of the development of this and other projects simply because I lack decent feedback.

Rather than fretting about the design, I decided to create a new account with the handle @idoodle .

I will create the tiles for the project on @idoodle . I could put the tiles on different tribes.

iDoodle is a Group Project

I intend the infinite doodle to be a group project. After engaging in the core development of the project, I hope to release the project into the public sphere.

It really makes sense that I create an account for the project.

Starting on PalNet

I created the first post for the project on PalNet.

I tried minting the first NFT. The system is just hanging.

That's not a big deal.

I would love inpot on what you would like to see in a group art project.

Conclusion

I welcome input on this project and thoughts on best location for the project.

I decided that I spent enough time in the design phase. The best way to start the project is to put on my cowboy boots and start coding. I intend to publish a tile a day on @idoodle and we will see how things take shape.
