Weekend at the Libretas Betania Atelier

Saludos! Espero todos estén teniendo un fabuloso fin de semana, por mi parte fui solicitada por una buena amiga para ayudar con su emprendimiento de papelería, específicamente de cajas de cartón, tenia una entrega para hoy y aun tenia mucho por delante para acabar el encargo a tiempo, así que solicito mi ayuda yo ya había trabajado anteriormente pintando sobre las cajas así que era algo conocido para mi y accedí de inmediato a su propuesta.

Greetings! I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend, for my part I was asked by a good friend to help with her stationery venture, specifically cardboard boxes, she had a delivery for today and still had a long way to go to finish the job on time, so she asked for my help I had worked before painting on the boxes so it was something familiar to me and I agreed immediately to her proposal.

Su emprendimiento se llama Libretas Betania y así la encuentran todas las redes sociales y el día de ayer salí muy temprano a su encuentro para empezar a trabajar, en el primer trabajo que realice ya parte de la obra estaba iniciada mi amiga ya había dibujado el pasto de un campo de tulipanes que van sobre esta franja que completa una caja muy bonita que abre como si fuera una pequeña gaveta, usando cuatro colores (amarillo, fucsia, rosado y rojo) debía distribuir las flores por todo el espacio, en total eran 24 de estas fajas, pero como mencione anteriormente ya estoy familiarizada pintando cajas en gran numero logre hacerlas todas en un tiempo bastante corto.

Her enterprise is called Libretas Betania and this is how all the social networks find her and yesterday I went out very early to meet her to start working, in the first job I did and part of the work was already started my friend had already drawn the grass of a field of tulips that go on this strip that completes a very nice box that opens as if it were a small drawer, using four colors (yellow, fuchsia, pink and red) I had to distribute the flowers throughout the space, in total there were 24 of these strips, but as I mentioned before I am already familiar with painting boxes in large numbers I managed to do them all in a fairly short time.

Después de pintar cada uno de los tulipanes y que estuvo seca la pintura, procedí a definir mejor la forma de las flores con un marcador de punta fina negra, esta es mi parte favorita en este momento toca interpretar cada mancha de color y dibujar los pétalos, como mi amiga me dejo ser libre en cuanto a la forma pude jugar bastante con las posición de los pétalos y me dio buena ideas quizás pruebe pintar algo usando esta técnica luego.

After painting each of the tulips and the paint was dry, I proceeded to better define the shape of the flowers with a black fine tip marker, this is my favorite part at this time to interpret each spot of color and draw the petals, as my friend let me be free as to the shape I could play a lot with the position of the petals and gave me good ideas maybe I will try to paint something using this technique later.

El siguiente encargo constaba de unas flores mas grandes pero la técnica fue bastante similar, en primer lugar pintas la mancha de las flores, una rosa, para la cual se crean lineas curvas concéntricas y otras flores sencillas de cuatro o seis pétalos largos, algunas hojas verdes al lado de cada flor y corazones alrededor.

The next assignment consisted of some larger flowers but the technique was quite similar, first you paint the spot of the flowers, a rose, for which you create concentric curved lines and other simple flowers of four or six long petals, some green leaves next to each flower and hearts around them.

Luego usando colores y marcadores de colores, definí un poco mejor las siluetas de las flores y como broche de oro, el centro de cada flor fue coloreado de color dorado, había olvidado lo desestresante que es esta actividad para mi, la disfruto mucho y el llevar la cuenta de cuantas flores lleva cada una los colores como organizarlo para que luzca armonioso y bello o incluso contar el tiempo que me lleva hacer cierta cantidad de piezas me gusta, trabajamos hasta poco mas de las nueve de la noche y no se si fue porque me encontraba descansada de este trabajo o porque lo extrañaba después de tanto tiempo, el trabajo fluyo muy bien y logre terminar de pintar y delinear muy rápido.

Then using colors and colored markers, I defined a little better the silhouettes of the flowers and as a finishing touch, the center of each flower was colored in gold, I had forgotten how de-stressing this activity is for me, I enjoy it very much and I like to keep track of how many flowers each one has the colors and how to organize it to make it look harmonious and beautiful or even count the time it takes me to make a certain amount of pieces, I like it, We worked until a little after nine o'clock at night and I don't know if it was because I was rested from this work or because I missed it after such a long time, the work flowed very well and I managed to finish painting and outlining very quickly.

Me alegro mucho compartir también de nuevo con mi amiga y poder ayudarla en su trabajo, aunque yo la apoyo ocasionalmente con diseños digitales para sus cajas, pero era la primera vez que me involucraba en el trabajo de taller y esa fue mi actividad fuera de la rutina normal de mis días y la pase muy bien!

I'm so glad to also share again with my friend and be able to help her in her work, although I support her occasionally with digital designs for her boxes, but it was the first time I was involved in workshop work and that was my activity out of the normal routine of my days and I had a great time!
