Owl, night eyes - Digital Illustration [ENG-ESP]

Saludos a todos! Espero sea un grandioso día, el día de hoy quiero mostrar una ilustración sencilla que realice a partir de una imagen que encontré en algún post de Facebook que mostraba diversos animales captados en momentos divertidos, aún tengo algunas más pendientes, el que les muestro el día de hoy se trata de un búho que mira de una manera muy peculiar girando bastante su cabeza, les mostrare el proceso de creación de esta ilustración esperando sea del agrado de todos.

Greetings to all! I hope it's a great day, today I want to show you a simple illustration that I made from an image I found in a Facebook post that showed various animals captured in funny moments, I still have some more pending, the one I show you today is an owl that looks in a very peculiar way turning its head, I will show you the process of creating this illustration hoping it will be to everyone's liking.

El primer paso fue dibujar un boceto a grandes rasgos para establecer el tamaño y la proporción del animal, seguidamente y basandome en este primer boceto dibuje las líneas, para esta ilustración he usado un pincel con efecto de crayon para dar este aspecto un poco rustico a las líneas como podrán observar en la siguiente imagen.

The first step was to draw a rough sketch to establish the size and proportion of the animal, then based on this first sketch I drew the lines, for this illustration I used a brush with crayon effect to give this aspect a little rustic to the lines as you can see in the following image.

Lo siguiente ha sido añadir la base de color, para ello tome como base un color marrón y coloree toda la figura.

The next step was to add the base color, for this I took a brown color as a base and colored the whole figure.

Seguidamente seleccione la opción preservar opacidad en la capa de la base de color, y comencé a añadir los diferentes tonos de su plumaje.

Next I selected the preserve opacity option on the base color layer, and started adding the different shades of her plumage.

Luego procedí a oscurecer y definir más cada uno de los tonos que añadí anteriormente, además comencé a añadir algunas plumas extras en la parte de su pecho, y coloree también algunas manchas más claras en sus alas, aunque solo ha sido un pequeño acercamiento a la belleza y variedad de colores presentes en las alas de tan majestuosa criatura.

Then I proceeded to darken and define more each one of the tones I added previously, I also started to add some extra feathers in the part of its chest, and I also colored some lighter spots in its wings, although it has only been a small approach to the beauty and variety of colors present in the wings of such a majestic creature.

Una vez que finalice la figura decidí colorear el fondo de la imagen, para lo cual he decidido un fondo de un tono de azul oscuro como la noche, el ambiente ideal para este amiguito, hice un ligero degradado en la parte inferior de la imagen como un ocaso y por último dibuje algunas estrellas de fondo.

Once I finished the figure I decided to color the background of the image, for which I have decided a background of a dark blue tone like the night, the ideal environment for this little friend, I made a slight gradient at the bottom of the image as a sunset and finally I drew some stars in the background.

Me gusta mucho dibujar animales y creo que el detalle que más me ha gustado de este creo que han sido sus grandes ojos en los cuales también he dibujado el reflejo de algunas estrellas, espero que les haya gustado, hasta la próxima! Un abrazo!
