Jergas Familiares - Iniciativa Holos&Lotus

espero se encuentren muy bien y sea un gran domingo para todos, he sido invitada por mi amiga @yole para participar en una iniciativas de esta comunidad que nos invita a develar esos códigos lingüísticos familiares tan propios y decidí escribir de inmediato mientras tengo la memoria fresca, pues recordé algunos mientras leía a la querida Yole, agradezco a @charjaim por esta divertida iniciativa.

I hope you are feeling well and it's a great Sunday for everyone, I have been invited by my friend @yole to participate in an initiative of this community that invites us to unveil those familiar linguistic codes so much our own and I decided to write immediately while my memory is fresh, because I remembered some while reading dear Yole, I thank @charjaim for this fun initiative.

No seas tan pretencioso Pimpin.

Esto fue muy gracioso de escuchar de parte de mi abuela y nos contó la anécdota... cuando ella era joven vivía en un campo y era común contratar muchos jornaleros que en esos tiempos solían pernoctar en las casas donde eran empleados hasta culminar de recoger la cosecha, por supuesto mi abuela era joven, pero tenia que ayudar a preparar los alimentos para todos y nos contó que uno de los obreros era muy delicado según sus palabras, siempre traía su envase para el agua, que por ese entonces solían decirle pimpina y el solo tomaba el agua de esa botella y también era muy desconfiado de los alimentos que le daban, por lo que todos comenzaron a llamarlo Antonio Pimpin y desde entonces todos comenzaron a referirse con "Pimpin" a alguien que suele ser muy pretencioso o recibe con desagrado alimentos o bebidas de alguien mas.

This was very funny to hear from my grandmother and she told us the anecdote.... when she was young she lived in a field and it was common to hire many day laborers who in those times used to stay overnight in the houses where they were employed until the harvest was finished, of course my grandmother was young, but she had to help prepare the food for everyone and she told us that one of the workers was very delicate according to her words, he always brought his water container, At that time they used to call him "pimpina" and he only drank water from that bottle and he was also very suspicious of the food he was given, so everyone began to call him Antonio Pimpin and since then everyone began to refer to someone who is usually very pretentious or receives food or drinks from someone else with displeasure as "Pimpin".

Estoy como talón de tarrallero

No se que tan común sea esta frase, pero en mi casa se suele asociar el estar como talón de tarrallero con alguien que esta "limpio" es decir sin dinero, los tarralleros son pescadores de agua dulce, estos suelen pasar días y a veces noches enteras esperando el retorno de los peces para el desove, en esta temporada los ríos se llenan de pescados y los tarralleros mas ambiciosos duran días a las orillas de los ríos y sus talones quedan muy lavados por estar tanto tiempo bajo el agua.

I don't know how common this phrase is, but in my house it is usually associated with someone who is "clean" that is to say without money, the tarralleros are freshwater fishermen, they usually spend days and sometimes nights waiting for the return of the fish for spawning, in this season the rivers are full of fish and the most ambitious tarralleros last days on the banks of the rivers and their heels are very washed by being under water for so long.

Ese perro es raza Catumpi

Mi tío suele ser muy ocurrente y una vez me dijo que la perra que tenia en su casa era de raza "catumpi" obviamente yo me sentí muy confundida, pues aunque conozco de razas de perros esta me parecía desconocida, y de inmediato me explico que era un acrónimo para "callejera tumba pipotes" aunque me pareció muy gracioso también me dio algo de tristeza, pero realmente era así la historia de la perrita, en ese entonces solía verla comúnmente en una zona que el visitaba y al darse cuenta que estaba hambrienta y que era obvio que no tenia un dueño, decidió llevarla a casa y le dio un hogar y un lindo nombre aludiendo al color de su pelaje Canela, ahora en casa cuando hay un algún perrito rescatado decimos que es raza catumpi.

Me encanto esta iniciativa me reí mucho recordando las jergas usadas en casa que suelen ser divertidas aun hay muchas mas, pero mi memoria me impide recordar justo ahora, me gustaría invitar a mi querida @alizmarpaola tal vez pueda reconocer algunas de las jergas que ella pueda recordar ya que también es familia y a mi amiga @suezoe para que nos cuente cuales son esos códigos lingüísticos propios de su familia.

I loved this initiative I laughed a lot remembering the jargons used at home that are usually funny even there are many more, but my memory prevents me from remembering just now, I would like to invite my dear @alizmarpaola maybe she can recognize some of the jargons that she can remember since she is also family and my friend @suezoe to tell us what are those linguistic codes of her family.
