It's been a long time in the camping club community (@CCH), but on this occasion I will share our climb to Seulah Dara Peak.
Seulawah Dara is a mountain located in Selawah Valley District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The mountain is about 1,000 meters above sea level. The name "Seulawah Dara" means "Virgin of the Mountains" in Acehnese. The mountain also has a Triangulation monument with the code S225. Seulawah Dara itself is part of the Pocut Meurah Intan Grand Forest Park.
Climbing Seulawah Dara can be a challenging yet rewarding experience for adventure enthusiasts. After preparing all the necessities of climbing such as logistics, bedding and other needs, we went straight to the last village to the top of Seulawah Dara, from the last village after we parked the vehicle in the garden of the four of us immediately do the climb, when the clock shows 17:15 Wib. The first path we passed was in the form of neglected community plantations. Unlike the Seulawah Agam climbing path, Seulawah Dara climbing path is not too challenging.
The climb to the top of Seulawah Dara did not take too long, we reached the top at 6:35 pm, approximately two hours of climbing. Arriving at the top of the night we immediately prepare the tent, cooking. That night we enjoyed the night at the top of Seulawah Dara while telling stories about each other's experiences.
