My Journey on Hive: Embracing Blogging and Family

Introduction

Welcome to my first post on Hive! I'm Ryan Solante, a 31-year-old from Bato, Leyte. In this article, I'll introduce myself to this Hive community. I will also share my experiences as a freelance virtual assistant, my passion for photography, and the importance of family in my life.

I owe my presence on Hive to Ate @me2selah, who invited me to join this vibrant community. She guided me through the process of creating an account and taught me everything I needed to know about Hive. Her own story of growth and success here inspired me greatly. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to know her and be part of this wonderful community.

Embracing Blogging: A Personal Journey

Blogging wasn't initially my cup of tea. However, I soon realized the importance of leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. I wanted to create something that my children and future grandchildren would remember me by. Hence, I took the leap and started my blogging journey right here on Hive. I hope this article engages and captivates you as much as it allows me to express myself authentically.

The Life of a Freelance Virtual Assistant

In my professional life, I work as a freelance virtual assistant. I dedicate my time to digital marketing for various crypto-related projects. One of my specialties is creating captivating graphics and videos that help enhance my client’s brand identity. Additionally, I'm fortunate to have my eldest sister as my business partner, collaborating on a venture focused on beauty and health products sourced from Korea.

Pursuing Passion: Photography as a Hobby

Photography holds a special place in my heart. I find joy in capturing the beauty of nature and the innocence of animals through the lens of my phone's camera. While I may not possess professional gear and equipment, I believe that skill and passion are what truly matter in photography. Every click of the shutter is an opportunity to preserve a moment and convey emotions through a single image.

Cherishing Family Time

Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, I make it a priority to spend quality time with my wife and son. Setting aside a dedicated day each week for bonding strengthens our family bond. We often head to the beach for a refreshing swim or embark on a road trip, relishing the moments until my son peacefully falls asleep. These cherished memories create a strong foundation of love and togetherness that will endure through generations.

My recommendations are to create original content, plagiarism is penalized, always put the sources of the images that belong to us, respect the copyright and interact with other users to publicize your blog.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
