Para mi es un placer participar en este concurso #3 de la comunidad de Hive Book Club, donde tenemos que responder varias preguntas acerca de lecturas, para mi la lectura es conocer el significado de todas las cosas, es comprender lo que estamos leyendo, a mí en lo particular la lectura me ayudó mucho cuando era niña porque fue allí donde yo aprendí como se escriben las palabras, comence a mejorar la escritura evitando cometer errores ortográficos, y era la niña que menos errores ortográficos cometía en el salón de clases y eso gracias a la lectura.
For me it is a pleasure to participate in this contest #3 of the Hive Book Club community, where we have to answer several questions about reading, for me reading is to know the meaning of all things, is to understand what we are reading, for me in particular reading helped me a lot when I was a child because it was there where I learned how words are written, I began to improve my writing avoiding spelling mistakes, and I was the girl who made fewer spelling mistakes in the classroom and that thanks to reading.
¿Cuál es tu momento o lugar favorito para leer?/What is your favorite time or place to read?
La verdad es que para mí el momento indicado para leer es cuando me he desocupado de hacer los quehaceres del hogar, es cuando estoy más relajada y con más tiempo para dedicarle a la lectura.
The truth is that for me, the right time to read is when I'm free from housework, when I'm more relaxed and have more time to dedicate to reading.
¿Qué te hace disfrutar de un libro?/What makes you enjoy a book?
El desarrollo de un libro es lo que llama mi atención y lo que más disfruto, me gusta que las historias plasmadas tengan un orden para poder entender mejor, cosa que pueda captar la atención del lector, me gustan también esos tipos de libros que pongan a volar mi imaginación, disfruto mucho las experiencias vividas de cada uno de los personajes, hay libros que muchas veces nos hacen llorar, algunas veces de alegria y otras veces de dolor, leer estos tipos de libros que trasmiten estos sentimientos también me gustan mucho, que hacen que el lector verdaderamente viva la historia de los personajes.
The development of a book is what catches my attention and what I enjoy the most, I like that the stories have an order to understand better, something that can capture the reader's attention, I also like those types of books that make my imagination fly, I enjoy the experiences of each of the characters, there are books that often make us cry, sometimes of joy and sometimes of pain, reading these types of books that convey these feelings I also like a lot, they make the reader truly live the story of the characters.
¿Le gusta leer al aire libre, antes de acostarse o en el autobús de camino al trabajo?/Do you like to read outdoors, before going to bed or on the bus on the way to work?
Cuando niña mi papá me ponía a leer los periódicos en el patio de la casa, debajo de una mata de mango, yo veía como él disfrutaba de la lectura al oirla y también del viento que pegaba en su rostro, y eso fue algo que quedó en mí, me gusta leer al aire libre y al mismo tiempo disfrutar de la naturaleza, del viento cuando me golpea, no me gusta leer antes de acostarme porque me da sueño demasido rápido y menos cuando voy en el bus ya que viajan gran cantidad de personas y es algo que es muy incómodo, además me gusta mirar por la ventana cuando voy en el bus.
When I was a child my dad used to put me to read the newspapers in the backyard of the house, under a mango tree, I saw how he enjoyed reading when he heard it and also the wind hitting his face, and that was something that stayed with me, I like to read outdoors and at the same time enjoy nature, I don't like to read before going to bed because it makes me sleepy too fast and even less when I go on the bus because there are a lot of people traveling and it is something that is very uncomfortable, I also like to look out the window when I go on the bus.
¿Te enfocas en el desarrollo del personaje, los mensajes reflexivos o el nivel de intriga que genera una trama en ti?/Do you focus on character development, thoughtful messages or the level of intrigue a plot generates in you.
Me enfoco en los mensajes reflexivos que trasmiten los libros, ya que pueden ser vivencias que pudiéramos estar pasando algunos de nosotros, y esos mensajes reflexivos algunas veces nos ayudan a tomar mejores decisiones, soy un tipo de persona que lee mucho libros de hechos de la vida real, y las enseñanzas que éstos suelen dejar de acuerdo a las vivencias de cada uno de los personajes nos ayudan mucho a reflexionar y algunas veces a abrir nuestros ojos ante circunstancias en las que no sabemos que hacer.
I focus on the reflective messages that books transmit, since they can be experiences that some of us could be going through, and those reflective messages sometimes help us to make better decisions, I am a kind of person who reads a lot of books about real life events, and the teachings that they usually leave according to the experiences of each of the characters help us to reflect and sometimes to open our eyes to circumstances in which we do not know what to do.

I am mostly pleases by the fact that you allow the experience of the people in the different books you read to rub off on you.
I do that too. I learned from those experience. This is because I usually think it's the experiences that a lot of people go through on a daily basis too.
I understand Why you wouldn't want to read before bed or on the bus. The part about the bus is cool. You really have to pay attention to the road so that you can see a few new things, and learn about new places.

Something I truly appreciated from reading your answer is the empathy we feel as readers.
We temporarily live the lives of the characters while reading about and understanding their various journies in the story.
