Awesome trip! Good to see you're enjoying yourself!
@michelmake Thanks for your comment. It's an Adventure. Interesting part of Indian history, these erotic carvings. The depictions at Khajuraho suggest that India was indeed more open-minded and culturally diverse before the influence of Islamic and British rule. The temples represent a rich heritage where sensuality, spirituality, and artistic expression coexisted harmoniously. These remarkable carvings serve as a testament to the complex and evolving nature of Indian society over the centuries, reflecting the values and ideologies of different epochs in its history. Thanks for stopping by.
Great to see some more of your travels.
Quite a provocative temple indeed.
Hope life is treating you well. Missed seeing you around these parts. Much love xxxxx
Hello Aishlynn,
Thank you for your warm words! I've been a bit tied up lately and haven't had as much time for blogging or exploring the Hive blockchain. However, this recent journey to the Khajuraho temple was too captivating to resist documenting. I promise to share more adventures soon.
Life's been treating me well, and I hope the same for you. Missed the interactions here too. Sending much love your way! xxxxx

Awesome! The temple looks quite impressive and sophisticatedly created. I like the fact that they display sexuality that openly and even make temple out of it. Hope you're having a good time in India. Enjoy🤗
@ceciliad.art So nice you dropped by. I'd love to catch up with you once i'm back. Also, I would love to do some mural painting with you. Are you up for it?
The temples invoke a very special feeling. It's very liberating, because it reminds of letting go. I also wonder how crazy these people might have been for the islamic invasions that would totally label this culture and their depiction as an act of infidelity.
Just the nature of this, shows how evolved and sophisticated they might have been when these were just a part of many temples across the country. Students had been sent from all over to visit temples/educational centres to learn about other topics besides sexuality, like astronomy, mathematics, art, philosophy....
@yangyanje How long are you staying there? That sounds like a great idea! I've never done a mural, but I've been interested in painting one for a while.
I can imagine that the temples evoke a special feeling, must be very fascinating to experience. Good point, what a cultural difference. And yes, they seem to be very evolved and sophisticated, generally ancient civilizations. I'm often wondering about their knowledge and creations. Even the fact that their work - from temples to wisdom and knowledge to traditions etc. - endured thousands of years and is still revered today, proves how advanced they were.
Back in the alps around the 1st of march. Truly! Just bough a few books on some cmpelling ideas of this ancient science. These texts delve into the principles of cardinal directions and the movements of celestial bodies, underpinned by the mathematical foundations of trigonometry and astrodynamics. They also discuss intriguing concepts such as number series and their relation to motion, as well as the intricate interplay of waves. A significant focus is on the harmony and tonal qualities of various bodies, alongside an in-depth analysis of the decay patterns of their acoustic wave reflections and the ratios involved. This unique blend of topics offers a comprehensive insight into the physical phenomena that govern sound and its interaction with the environment.
