You Rock
Hive Communities, Art Lovers and Blockchain Enthusiasts,
I recently started a community on hive together with @brittandjosie, @phoenixwren, @nathanmars, @jurich60 and @alchemystones with much help from @qwerrie, who I encounter so positively everywhere I move in the #hiveverse. Very helpful.
The community is about painting rocks and leaving them somewhere, selling them, making redeemable NFT's or anything you can think of. To make it a mindful undertaking, retrievers of such rocks are encouraged to share their posting rewards with the artist who labels a rock with their hive account name.
If you would like to subscribe and follow, it's Hive Rocks or @hive-127783 .
The above Rock was my first one and I did not label it. I left it at the location of Latitudes and Longitudes described in the table above as a treasure hunt. Planing on making a series of such monkeys.
The Process
Firstly, I was walking to search for rocks and picked up three:
Checking the shape of each rock I pick, I assessed them on how one could place them, keeping in mind that anyone might be decorating their home with them. The top left had a nice flat surface which reminded of a tablet. The right reminded me of an animal. Guess which one? I also thought if I'd be putting them amongst other rocks, that they should at least look odd or stand out. Imagine a really nicely painted rock that could turn out to be quite the treasure hunt for some people.
I decided to paint the bottom one:
Looking forward to sharing more rocks and a growing hive rocks community.
Thank you for reading.

Love it!!!!😍
Nice to read your comment my friend. I would hunt one of your painted rocks in ticino for sure. This could become fun when more people paint such rocks? Would have a lot of joy to see yours. Love your paintings.
Thank you sooo much!!! Oh yes in Ticino are many big rocks that wait to be painted 😄
How cool ! I love that the face looks at the person who will pick him up
So nice to see your comment here. I would like to add your rock image on top of our background image. Will write a post on it.
Awesome! I would definitely take this one home, if I found it somewhere and I think kids would like it too :<)
Thanks for your comment buddy. I also think its fun for uncles ne children too. Met a whole family of rock painters this summer. They have some pretty spaced out rocks i'd take home too.
Ahh, you did such a good job, I love it! 😄

Thanks phoenix. Excited about that movement.
Awesomeness! The first "Hive Rock" has been set free!
I just started work on my first stone, as well.
I'll try to find some time to do a couple of "tutorials" on choosing a good rock to paint on, putting a weatherproof finish on rocks, paints and so forth...
Let's get the world involved with Hive Rocks!
Wow. I am so excited to read this comment @alchemystones . Makes me feel like a kid. Thank you for stopping by my friend. I'd love to read those tutorials. I have this varnish spray and i'm also concerned about the weathering. I try to place them in sheds or under trees . So excited. I have to write something about using hashtags and still work on the group voting preferences. Looking forward.
well done! I love painted rocks. They're so cute and creative. I love that you started a community for it too! Yay! I will subscribe! ❤️❤️❤️
Looking great! I like the idea of Hive Rocks, innovative and unique! I am gonna flow with the Hive Rock Community, looking forward and nice work again :)
