HELLO

After some months of not touching my graphic tablet, I decided to have a taste of it again, and to check if I can still handle it. To God be the glory, everything is still intact.

This piece is quite special to me,its a wake up call from slumber, and that's why I named it "Tejiri" which is an Urhobo name for "Worthy of praise". It's the short form of Oghenetejiri which means God's worthy of praise.

Before, I even start the sketch, I saw the name outplaying in my head several times. Tejiri is a true definition of the word sun-kissed. She's a moon girl. The sun setting and the moon rising from her. No wonder they say We are a people of colour, yes for true, Orange is the new black.
