National Cappuccino Day!

Yes! Today is National Cappuccino Day! Rejoice and be glad in it! Today is a day where we are highly encouraged to drink coffee, in this case, of the cappuccino variety. Of course, I'm here to celebrate any form of coffee.

Recipe Name: Cappuccino Crypt Whispers

Ingredients

  • 1 double shot espresso from Skeleton Brew's "Sweet Dawn's Requiem" blend
  • 4 ounces steamed milk
  • 1 ounce frothed milk
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder
  • Dark chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: The Espresso Enigma

Begin your journey into the Cappuccino Crypt Whispers by brewing a rich, double shot of espresso using Skeleton Brew's "Sweet Dawn's Requiem" blend. Let the machine unlock the secrets within the beans, pouring forth a dark and aromatic foundation for your cappuccino.

Step 2: The Milky Veil

While the espresso forms the soul of the Cappuccino Crypt Whispers, steamed milk weaves a milky veil of smoothness. Steam the milk to a silky texture, ensuring a warm and comforting embrace that will blanket the espresso in a gentle caress.

Step 3: The Frothy Crown

Prepare the frothed milk, whisking it into a light, airy consistency. This delicate froth will sit atop your cappuccino like a spectral crown, a nod to the frothy whispers of the crypt that inspire this beverage's name.

Step 4: The Cinnamon Secret

Just before assembling the Cappuccino Crypt Whispers, take a pinch of cinnamon powder and let it cascade over the steamed milk. This spice represents the dust of time, a subtle but ancient touch that will awaken the senses.

Step 5: The Mysterious Merge

Pour the steamed milk over the espresso, allowing the "Sweet Dawn's Requiem" darkness to blend with the milky veil. The layers of your Cappuccino Crypt Whispers will come together in a beautiful dance of shadows and light.

Step 6: The Whispering Top

Gently spoon the frothed milk onto the surface of the cappuccino, creating a soft, whispering top. The froth is the final messenger of the crypt, carrying with it the tales of a hundred silent stories.

Step 7: The Chocolate Epitaph

As a final tribute, garnish your creation with dark chocolate shavings. These shavings are like the engravings on an ancient tombstone, marking the memory of every sip with a bittersweet reminder of depth and darkness.

Step 8: The Silent Sip

Take a moment to appreciate the artistry of your Cappuccino Crypt Whispers before indulging in the first silent sip. Let the combination of robust espresso, creamy milk, whispered froth, and a hint of cinnamon speak to your soul as you celebrate National Cappuccino Day.

I nearly missed it! Got so busy in the day it nearly passed me by. I think we have National Espresso Day coming up later this month, too!

I know I've not been aboot much, but I think life is settling down. Will soon again be more active in the community!

Hey, thank you for asking! That means a lot, and is very much appreciated.

I'm alright, I just bit of way more than I could chew in October. I've been trying to keep up on comments, but some have undoubtedly gotten away. I'm about to blow up your Weekend community with An Entire Month of October and Some of November update (I think I might make that the title, too). The tl/dr is that I was involved in two different theatre plays, a short horror film (not yet complete), a coffee and movie event, Halloween party, Halloween and, somewhere in there, I kissed a woman I absolutely should not have kissed. Now I've started Salsa dance lessons and a weekly/bi-weekly Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Oh, and a visit to a renaissance faire, too. Somewhere in there I've still been putting time into a full time job.

Next week I think I'll be back on a schedule and interacting, for at least a little while. The plus side is that I have been having a lot of fun, despite a lack of sleep.

And I got a new dog!

Thanks again for checking in; it honestly means a lot.

No worries mate, it seems like you've had plenty to do so all good. I guess I wondered is all, wanted to make sure things had not gone awry. I mean, I saw you posting so figured you were around the place, but no comments seemed out of character.

Well done on he new dog, unless it's Scooby Doo and then you're in for trouble, and I'm sure we'll see some images moving forward.

Have a good weekend.
