Crypt Keeper's Coffee Scrub

I've decided to shake things up this week. My Recipe of the Week is still coffee based, but this week with a twist. If you've ever wondered what to do with those used coffee grounds, look no further. Crypt Keeper's Coffee Scrub is an exfoliating scrub for your hands made from the remnants of your favourite drink.

Recipe Name: "Crypt Keeper's Coffee Scrub"

Ingredients

• 1 cup of the forsaken remnants of Skeleton Brew’s aromatic brew (cooled and dried coffee grounds)
• 1/2 cup of granulated sugar or sea salt, the Keeper's crystals
• 1/2 cup of mystical coconut oil (melted)
• 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil, the essence of tranquility (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: The Grounds Gathering

Begin your journey into the crypt by summoning the forsaken remnants of Skeleton Brew's aromatic brew. The cooled and dried coffee grounds hold the essence of the brew, waiting to be revived and repurposed.

Step 2: The Keeper’s Crystals

In a chalice of choice, unite the Keeper's crystals—granulated sugar or sea salt—with the coffee grounds. Stir well to intertwine the destinies of these foundational elements, preparing them for the ritual to come.

Step 3: The Mystical Merge

Pour the mystical coconut oil, now in a molten state, into the amalgam of coffee grounds and Keeper’s crystals. As you stir, witness the blend transform, as each ingredient binds together to form a scrub of unearthly delight.

Step 4: The Essence of Tranquility

If you choose to walk the path of fragrance, summon 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil—the essence of tranquility. As you blend this essence into the mixture, feel the calming aroma envelop the crypt, soothing the restless spirits within.

Step 5: The Keeper’s Cauldron

Convey the concocted scrub into an airtight container—the Keeper's cauldron. Preserve it in a cool, dry sanctuary, awaiting the time of the awakening.

Step 6: The Revival Ritual

Amidst the veil of steam in your shower or over a basin, summon a small handful of the Crypt Keeper's Scrub. Gently apply the scrub onto damp skin, moving in sacred circles to exfoliate and renew. Focus your energies on the realms most in need—the elbows, knees, or any rough patches.

Step 7: The Cleansing Cascade

After your skin has been graced by the Keeper’s concoction, initiate the cleansing cascade. Rinse off the scrub with warm waters, ensuring all remnants of the crypt are washed away, leaving your skin with a touch of the ethereal.

Step 8: The Keeper’s Blessing

As you step out from the veil of steam, feel the Crypt Keeper's blessing—the softness of exfoliated, rejuvenated skin. Embrace the aura of serenity that accompanies this earthly scrub, a testament to the mystical allure of Skeleton Brew’s essence reborn.

Notes

• Perform a patch test on a small area of your skin before using the scrub all over your body, especially if you have sensitive skin or any concerns.

• The scrub can be stored for up to two weeks in an airtight container.
I hope this recipe aligns well with the Skeleton Brew brand ethos of marrying rich flavors and a deep appreciation for arts and culture. Enjoy your exfoliating experience!

Thanks! I use it on my hands; they stay princely smooth. It's one of the few ways I spoil myself.

That looks pretty interesting.
Maybe you'd like to share a photo and a festive drink with the Coffee Conversation, as I have the feeling that you'd have a great response for this week's theme:)

I missed it. 🙁 October was so incredibly busy I was struggling to keep up with the basics. I brought it on myself; I was involved in two theatre plays and a short horror film (which is not yet done filming - I play the part of a middle aged flesh eating demon! How cool is that?)

November is not as swamped. I will be better!

Oh, it sounds like so much fun. I hope that you'll share some of your happenings on the Blockchain 🤗

It's been a busy month for me too, and I'm playing catch up. I'm nearly there now:)
Have a great Friday:)))

When Pumpkin Spice is becoming just too mainstream, Enter Crypt Keeper's.

Yep, I like to shake and shimmy things up. I suppose I could have made it a pumpkin spice hand scrub but... meh.
