Oh, none of us can read every comment in every post - except for our own posts :)
But those are the ones that give me the most trouble, for a lot of very different reasons. I've just come up with a strategy though so maybe this will change.
It's vital to your success to reply to your own post's comments, as well as any replies to your comments. I know it's hard but it's worth it.

hehehe but I agree with @wrestlingdesires - always reserve time for supporting others. even if you just have 3-5 posts you read a day! If everyone did that and left encouraging comments - just think how amazing Hive would be :)
Reading them can become addictive too! We have so many great writers 💓
I do read posts. Comments on my own posts are somehow much harder... Working on it, though.

Sometimes some posts just lacks visibility for some reason. There were a case recently when I discovered a post from a person I follow much (many days) after the post payout.
And someone lately told me that there is a problem with the searching too. It is hard to discover content. I do not remember his/her name, but he/she told me that he/she could not even found his own content by searching.
Hopefully the search function is fixed soon. I guess that's why everyone relies so heavily on tags :(
